Man, I have a japanese Ditto, yet I've yet to hatch a shiny with the Masuda method from the hundreds and hundreds of eggs I've hatched over the years on Pearl and SoulSilver

....I'm beginning to question wether masuda method works in black 2.....I had shiny eggs way sooner in black 1 for 4 pokemon......oh well atlease I have 100+ of each feather now >_>

Balancing is easier in Gen V due to the new exp method - lower leveled mons gain more exp while higher leveled mons gain less exp (both are relative to the enemy's level).

Leaving in less than 10 hours to the Pokemon Northwest Regional in Oregon. Starting to EV Train now for the video game tournament. Have not finalized decklist for the TCG tournament.

Only shiny I ever caught was a Nidorino in SoulSilver. He doesn't have an avantageous nature, though. I hatched tons of Eevee eggs, but no shiny so far.

... I'm waiting for my version of Black 2 to arrive by mail. The waiting is killing me. My friend won't buy her White 2 version until February though :(

By the way, can we talk/ask about exchanges here on this thread ? Also, I don't remember if we can make exchanges between EU and US players. I believe it's possible, but I honestly don't remember.

Also : no running shoes toggle in B/W 2 ? ;_;

You just have to do a strange ending on a movie with the Pokemon you want to have the star. The easiest one is "Brycen-Man Strikes Back." Just defeat his Pokemon before the five turns are up and you'll have the entrance star.

I don't -think- that the stars go away if you delete the movie the Pokemon starred in from the 8 you can have playing at the theater, but I haven't tested that.

Scrafty really is an awesome Pokemon. I don't know if he'll ever be one of my ~faves~, but he has one of the best 'concepts' ever...trouser snake <3

My only real issue with him is that I think Scraggy is amazingly designed, and Scrafty looks kinda shit in comparison.

Thank ye. If my Pokemon do not look fabulous enough they won't be winners in my eyes even if they do win the battle.

This question was probably answered a lot, but here I go: Pokemon X/Y has sparked my fire once again and so I want to know of PokeGAF which fifth gen game I should buy.

I played all gens but the fifth. My last game was SoulSilver which burned me out, because I already played Gold all these years ago when I was a kid, so I think that was the reason.

I only want to buy one game.
Should I get White/Black or White 2/Black 2? What is the consensus here? Are 2 the better games?

Get one of the 2 games. They are a little less by the numbers that OG black/white.
