At this rate, our group will stop raiding for Suicune after this weekend and just save our passes for Tyranitar.

Caught 2 Raikou today and a low IV Tyranitar. That's it for me today I think, unless something pops up at walking distance.
Last ball glitch is definitely fixed, but I'm experiencing another glitch (and more iOS users seem to be experiencing it too) during raid lobbies, the number of players stays at 1 and I don't see more people coming in, gotta rely on other users.

Only got an Entei at my third raid. It luckily was the best one at 1896 but I'm going to try to get some better ones.

I went to downtown Atlanta to watch the Dragon Con Parade. Choose a spot that had access to 2 Pokestops. Was fun in that spot. We got a there a few hours early and walked around. Prob wasn't until 15 till that connection got bad.

Ok they really need to fix this raid lobby issue, not sure if only iOS users have it, but I've only seen it in on iPhone. Not being able to see how many people are actually in once you enter the lobby really sucks, I don't want to keep exiting and entering just to be sure we got enough people.

Edit: On positive stuff, it was nice to meet a group of 3 today: 2 grandparents and their grandson (he was about 20) who go out raiding together and get really excited whenever one of them catches the Pokémon, one of them got a 1904 CP Raikou earlier today, that's really close to 100%. The grandson's parents live abroad so he lives together with this grandparents, pretty cool stuff.

I've gotten tremendous luck with Raikous. I am 8 out of 10, which includes a raid that I errored out of and didn't even have the opportunity to throw balls (although the pokedex went ahead and counted it as a missed pokemon)

The raid groups here are definitely substantially smaller even though this is the first weekend of Raikou. Raid fatigue is real

I can see at least 13 gyms from where I'm sitting and not a single legendary raid is active..... Hopefully something shows up soon

Bad luck this morning. Completely defeated a gym, then the raid pops up before I can add a Pokemon. Stupid 34 cp Blissey is to blame, had to defeat it three times.

That's always annoying. I had it happen a couple of times.

I had very good luck catching Suicune today. 2/2 and both were easy.

I'm getting very worried about rare candy now though. I planned to save up a couple of hundred to level up Mewtwo but I've only received three 3 from the last 5 legendary raids I've done. At this rate levelling up even one ledgendary will be very difficult and doing more than one basically impossible. I'm really not sure what they were thinking adding potions to the pool of rewards for raids. In my experience it's a total and complete disaster

i also just hatched a 98% iv onix and made a good steelix so that was cool but i am still sitting on 15 metal coat i need upgrade for porygon 2 to complete my dex

I'm now like 5/5 on legendary raids using only normal razzs. Before that i was 14/30 with golden razzs. And I havent gotten any golden razzs the last few raids...weird.
Maybe I dont need them?

Two failures on entei today. He is easy to hit with great and curve but he isn't sticking as well as the birds.

He's sticking really well for me. 3/3, two of them with the first ball.

In other news..... I caught a Miltank today. Really happy with that.

There really needs to be a function to return a raid pass if no raid ends up occuring.

I lost a past because GPS was all over the place and by the time I got back into the lobby the remaining players had already started.

I am at 14 ot of 20 now. Throwing mostly excellents with golden razzies and curved. The few times I didn't get it was due to it not sticking even with all that, or the odd few curveballs that weirdly veered to the right just as it was going to the left to hit the center.

hes much easier to hit most of my throws have been excellent throws so much better then those damn birds flying 6 miles high and staying up there mocking you

My 10k eggs hatched! Not bad actually. Gave me a nice 21k stardust, which really helps leveling up my Raikou. Got just 1 more level to lv 30!

7/10 so far. Best one is a 91% one at 1896 CP. Will only go for premium passes during weekends or random Tyranitars/Snorlaxes, otherwise sticking to free passes. It's a whole month so there's no hurry and I don't want to end up with 30 Raikous.

Edit: Has Niantic said anything about the player count in lobbies issue?

This happens to me a lot, it's very frustrating in a big city. Thankfully I've never totally missed a raid but walking back and forth on the street like an idiot for 20 minutes trying to replace myself on the gym is very frustrating.

I'd prefer that once you use a gym pass you can reenter as long as you're within 50m or something. GPS drift issues are very annoying and that would solve it for most cases

Edit: I'm getting really desperate for rare candy. I've now only received 3 rare candy out of 7 legendary raids! I want to be able to power up the legendary Pokemon I catch, this is crazy! Is there any way to reach out to Ninantic on this? Rare is one thing but at this rate it won't even be possible for me to level even a single legendary Pokemon

They really fucked up when they added potions to the mix.

Got back into the game a couple of weeks ago real hard. Was level 23, now I'm level 29. Got all the way to 28 without spending a dime, but then Raikou came out and we did some raids... didn't have a choice and spent $40 for some passes and bag space. I figure I've gotten more than $40 of enjoyment out of the game so far.

Couple of things: Golden Raz are too hard to come by now. The legendaries are maybe slightly too hard to catch, but whatever, gives you that drive to do better when you don't get one. I'm 3/11 on Raikou, which is not great, but what can you do?

I think I'll end up slowing down a bit once I hit 30, but I need some more Tyranitars for when Mewtwo comes out.

Half of the revive bundles should've become potions, people were getting way too much revives, turning half of them into potions without increasing the pool the rewards are chosen from would've been perfect. I miss getting 12 candies per raid.

For sure. Revives were annoying, but at least we were getting decent amounts of good stuff. But then they scaled everything down to fit in potions, with revives still having the same proportion to the other items, so the whole pot is now dominated by healing items that I literally can't use fast enough (gyms barely put a dent in, and raids are just a constant net increase).

Also, it's really stupid that they apparently dropped the total yield down to be equivalent to T4 raids. Like, why? T5 raids SHOULD give tons of shit.

I'm 2 for 3 with Raikou. I had some beer and it made me say fuck it and spent 20 bucks to max out my storage to 1500.

Game is fun, I made a good 80 or 90k XP today, I'm well on my way to level 31.

I'm 0-2 against catching Raiku. I got "Great" throws on almost every throw, with a few "Nice" throws and one non-critical. The only time the ball shook twice was on the non-critical. lol fuck me
