The fact that you can't actually catch anything (aside from the one gimme) and build your own team in the demo kind of sucks.

That's what Pokemon's all about to me. These battles are kind of meaningless now.

I thought I would have gotten a nugget but got Heart Scales instead. I like the Heart Scales better, imo.

But, what Event are you talking of? I don't think there were any other way to finish the demo at all. Well, whatever. I wasn't expecting much anyway but I still wanted to play.

If I get any other codes from the Newsletter, I'll give them out.

It's a limited demo, not the full game. Not sure why so many people were expecting so much from it.

I didn't expect the full game. Just to be able to catch a couple of cool new things and go exploring. This is super on-rails with really shitty rewards, haha.

I believe a demo should be a bit more exemplary of the final product. It'd be cool to actually go hunting for some rare Pokemon in this thing and really engage people. There's no mystery here.

I wish you could have a demo team that transfers into the main game instead of a sample of the combat system where the items only transfer. It would have been a fun challenge to see if you could beat the game with your demo team.
 
Giving you a bunch of grunts to one-shot is kinda highlighting one of the lamer parts of Pokemon, lol.

I'm not sure how I would structure my own ideal Pokemon demo, tbh. I wouldn't want it to take away too much from the main game, and there's also not a whole lot new to show the player as far as gameplay goes. It's tricky.

I think having to actually work to hunt and find even just 2 or 3 Pokemon would have been awesome. Give us a Route or two to explore. Even let us fly to each of the island sequences instead of being auto-piloted there.

And yeah, 1-shotting the grunts really does encapsulate everything that's terrible about the series.

Huh, mine was slightly different. On my 9th clear I got one set of Heart Scales, and on my 10th I got another set. Interesting.
 
Got my code after I woke up. Pretty good way to start the day.

I'm hoping to get a good amount of time with the game. After going in hard on Pokemon X for a month and a half last year, I burned out pretty badly. Not really into competitive battling, which may hinder me more than anything.
 
Dang I was up at like 7 and saw someone posting about the Facebook thing but I thought nothing of it then.

Then I wake up again at 10 and see that everyone got their codes. feeeellls.

Ah well, hopefully that email will come sometime. Still no newsletter yet. ;-;

I guess if we just signed up the other day it might be a while before we get a code? I had an account on my other email from a while again but it said I had two linked to the same one and I couldn't access it so I made a new one with a different email.mhope it comes soon...my new phone has already been delayed for a while :(
