Got my email code! I was assuming that these emails were going to be like the Smash demo where they gave you multiple codes to give out. Would have helped out. :(
 
This demo is sooooo good. I'm way more excited for the full game now.

I think I'm going to do this once I get the second version later. I'm probably getting Ruby first, so I'll play that normally and when I get Sapphire down the road I'll transfer them to Pokemon Bank or Ruby and restart. I wish I hadn't gotten rid of my copy of Y, then I'd already have Blaziken :/
 
what i'm curious about is whether the framerate is more stable on the New 3DS. i don't expect it to be "better", but maybe it won't dip?

Glalie is the most significant reward, but if you keep playing you can get some items and stuff
 
Didn't get an email yet, so I'll go ahead and throw my name in the beggars hat. If I get a code from someone then receive an email I'll give mine away.
 
Friend told me that Gmail users can have trouble getting the email at all, including not even in the spam folder. Sooo. Yeah. A new beggar enters the fray.
 
I got my email, but at the part where it lists the code the image is always broken. I click the link that it says to if I have trouble viewing the email, but all I see is "Coupon" in its place. Any tips?

lol, so much for "impressing it with your Pokemon skills" or whatever that guy said.

The demo is really short but whatever. Would have been neat if it let you explore around a bit more (or at least let you enter any of the buildings).

Anyone know what was up with that invisible thing blocking the door to that one house? Are we supposed to do anything there or is it just some weird thing we're supposed to ignore?
 
Really loving all of the new arrangements in this, even if they don't have as much of a punch as the original GBA tracks do. Still a massive step up from XY though. RSE has one of my favorite Pokemon OSTs, XY was a real disappointment in that regard for me (it's pretty much the only Pokemon game with an OST I don't like).

I was about to mention this is happening to me too. I can't play and I wanted to give the code away but it just says coupon.

I'm having this exact problem. It shows a broken image in Gmail and when I click view online it vaguely says "coupon"

Maybe Nintendo sent out more emails than they can handle?

I tried that it didn't change the display. I might have to wait or deal with not getting a code at all.

I would assume so. I don't know if they'll send new codes or if these will work eventually. I hope it's the latter.
 
I already received a demo code via the Facebook promotion, so I don't need the Newsletter code. If someone is in need of a US code (won't work outside of the US e-Shop), then please quote this message.

Are you trying to view the email on a mobile device with a email client? If so try opening the email via a web browser or on a PC.

I think it sends the request out to the server to grab a code when you open the email. I think some email clients do no load all the images right away which is what is causing this.

I had the 'Live Content' when checking on my phone, but when opened in a browser it worked.
