Haha. Looks just like Colosseum with a few new environments. People who bitch about wanting an RPG Pokemon probably never touched Colosseum. It's actually quite good. It's a REAL RPG kids. Those screens take a few identical locations (like the lab with sliding doors) and just mix em' into the new.

But it should definitely be cartoon-shaded, the current presentation is far too sterile and doesn’t really capture the liveliness you’d expect from the Pokemon world.

What I really want from the console game is tournament and utility features more in line with was offered in Stadium G/S. Sadly they chopped that concept up and made the utility (Box) and tournament (Colosseum) two separate products and thus reduced the value of the console concept.
Yet another RPG doesn’t add anything unless you can get some HMs or other rare items more easily.

My main complaint with this style is that the pokemon models look like plastic toys. I know they're going for simplicity, but the realistic lighting and the lack of texturing (flat colours) just don't work well together. A cartoon-shaded style would definitely be better.

IMO, the world itself suffers less from the present treatment.

It's not my only wish, but this one should be near the top of the list. Colosseum is basically unplayable because it takes so long to wait through all of those ridiculous battle animations.

maybe cause he just looks so goddamn munted? I am quite dismayed by their choice of art/model style. Looks awful/Freaky

Blame GameFreak....for not making this game. GF's main-game character designs are great and its clear these aren't done by them.

An believe it or not I'm probably going to pass on this game. I've got all the friggin POKéMON and this one won't offer any new ones so really what's the point? The only things that could get me to buy this is if it included:

a.) Celebi for capture
b.) Mystic Ticket for transfer to Fr/Lg/E
c.) Aurora Ticker fortransfer to Fr/Lg/E
d.) Whatever the Mew ticket is for transfer to E
e.) All of the above

We can get Lugia & another Ho-oh this weekend at Nintendo World...well...some of us. *sigh* And no catching Munchy. That things practically a new mascot so an appearance is only natural but as you can see that's not a battle scene with the lil guy in it.
