I keep opening this thread, hoping to see that someone in a position of power has come to their senses.

Edit: oh hey, there it is.
Appalling that they needed a public backlash to realize that blatant sexual harassment isn't cool.

What the fuck is wrong with these people.

Would be amazing if this goes through and then the FBI swoops in and charges the police, prosecutors, judge, and doctor who administers the shot with sexual abuse, child pornography, and put them all on the registered sex offenders list.

This would, in fact, be amazing.

Man all I could think of reading the thread title was that old Youtube video

"Show me your genitals
your genitals (What?)
Show me your genitals
YOUR GENITALIAAAAAAAA!"

Police also arrested the teen and took him to juvenile jail, where Foster said they took photos of the teen’s genitals against his will.

Manassas City Manager Patrick Pate acknowledged Thursday that the department and the city had been fielding irate calls from across the country and internationally after the story broke. He said the city was being portrayed unfairly, given the fact that the photos were never actually taken.

So was the defense attorney making things up, or does the manager think it's just erect penis photos that we're upset about and not normal ones?

I'm gonna guess the latter given how much of the story was confirmed.

Somewhere there is a man who sank years of his life into the creation of boner analysis software. That man has just had everything he has been working for snatched away from him in an instant by a riotous mob. Good job, internet justice, you have destroyed yet another life

And on that day, no penises were photographed.

Not true. The defense in this case has claimed that he was already stripped and photographed while being detained, but they wanted to do it again with him forcibly aroused.

They still deserve a mountain of backlash for doing so and for even thinking about taking it a step further.

So this kid is facing a felony for being 17 and texting his 15 year old girlfriend his junk? I get wanting to get pedos off the street, but it's a two year difference...

it's not about the sex, it's the media... age of consent for sex is different than the age at which you can consent to having pornographic media starring you created or distributed

obviously this case is wonky for a number of reasons but I think the idea that society has different standards for allowing a 15 year old girl to consent to sex and allowing that same girl to have nude photos up on the internet or wherever is a reasonable, arguable one

They need to inject him for a boner?

I can get those by command now.

Sit!

Stay!

Beg!

Roll over!

Boner!

That's a good boy.

there is so much wrong with this case its not even funny, but its still funny.

You have the dumb mom who cant just let shit be.
You have the dumb police who dont dismiss the case.
You have the dumb possible sexist police who dont inform the mother that her own daughter could be charged with the same crime.
You have the dumb police that ALREADY created their own child porography by photographing the males genitals, and want to do it more by forcing an erection on him.

Where is there someone in this to say, you know this is ridiculous. Besides the defense attorney obviously.
Obama needs to put an end to this.

The girl had no charges, and who else besides the girl honestly cares about the pictures the boy took? I would pay not to see a 17 year old dude's junk on the internet. If she is the only party involved, and if it's not a crime to show her in person then why is it a harmful to show it to her in a picture? It's a giant waste of everyone's time.
