This is a civil rights violation to the extent that warrants the President stepping in. Send the freakin' National Guard in like Kennedy did.

Wow, read up on this piece of shit Ebert, PROSECUTOR MISCONDUCT.

Wouldn't this be torture?

It's like pleading the 5th with your boner, and them giving him truth syrum. Are chemically induced interrogations admissible in courts?

Foster said the case began when the teen’s 15-year-old girlfriend sent photos of herself to the 17-year-old, who in turn sent her the video in question. The girl has not been charged, and her mother filed a complaint about the boy’s video

Doesn't make sense why the girl wasn't charged either, they are both underage.

I thought the "right to privacy" which prevents you from donating blood and bone marrow against your will would apply here where they can refuse anything being injected into them?

The same way a pregnant woman can refuse treatment for a potentially dangerous operation?

What the hell, can't the parent just scold the boy? and WTF with that injection shit to force boner, that shit is insane!

A 17 year old and 15 year old having a sexual relationship is okay as long as they are responsible and use protection. I mean jeezus...they will probably charge him with statutory rape too.

Also forcing the kid to have an injection to make his dick hard should be illegal. WTF.

Knowing that you went to school to partake in situations like this isn't something you would ever consider. All those classes, tests, years with your head stuck in a book and a dick injection is what will make infamous.

If the dick injection gives me electrical powers, I'd consider it.

Prince William Co. does not fuck around. I know a guy who had a trooper stick his fingers in his mouth to swish around for marijuana because he smelled pot in the car. Them dudes don't play.

Sorry, but providing drugs to a teenager so he becomes sexually aroused, so you can photograph his genitals to be uploaded onto a computer so it can be compared to other male genitals kinda sounds like it should be against the law. What the hell...

Certainly not for the crime of a 17 year old sexting.

That's an interesting point. I think it would only be illegal if you sent it to someone else?

That can't be it though because he wasn't charged with distibuting child porn but also with creating it. Of course if you never sent your nude selfies to anyone else there wouldn't be someone to potentially press charges. But technically it would still be illegal to do.

Certainly not for the crime of a 17 year old sexting.

How 17 years old is he? Because if he was a short time away from being 18 maybe he should rot. An 18 sexting a 15 year old would possibly get a very different response out of people.

I like that they want to fight the "child pornography" caused by two teenagers sending private photos by actually taking a pic of one of the kids while also forcing his penis to go erect without consent and against his will.

Jesus... there must be a better way to go about this.

Seriously? If we're gonna start pulling those straws then why do we have an age of consent at all? Throw all the teenagers federal penitentiaries! That'll teach them to take nude photos of themselves without us behind the camera.

Edit: Also the age of consent in Virginia is 15....WHO WOULDA THOUGHT

Is it really illegal to take a nude selfie if you are under 18? Is this for real?

If you are under the age of consent, yes. You can be charged with distribution of child pornagraphy if you are, say, a 13 year old girl sending pictures to a boy. Getting a prosecutor to make charges stick, however, is a different story.

All told, they should both be charged with crimes. Not entirely fair, imo, but the law is the law. If you charge one, you should have to charge other if applicable.

They're both legal age of consent in the state of Virginia.

"We must stop this child from sending his junk to teens and breaking the law!"

"Now take off your pants and get your dick hard in front of us so we can take a picture and upload it to our computer"

It's like nobody in charge has any semblance of being self-aware.

I'm actually against pressing charges on the kid. Just thinking out loud to myself that the reactions may be different if his official age was 18. Even if he had only recently turned 18. I may be wrong, so it isn't that serious an assertion.

Maybe one of the higher ups actually is a hebephile?

It has nothing to do with age of consent, everything to do with pornography laws, federally you have to be 18 to be in pornography - doesn't matter what the sexual age of consent is.

Where it's fucked is that sending a selfie of yourself to a girlfriend/boyfriend under the age of 18 is considered distributing child pornography. Again, following the letter, not the spirit.

It sounds more like they are trying to get the kid to make a plea deal. Fearful they'll lose in court.

If I was their age, I would want a plea deal over having to go to a hospital for weirdo cops to take a dick pic...then again, I'd probably be smarter about what I sent too.

What's the minimum sentence for this crime anyway? Not even a reasonable judge could give lower than a mandatory minimum sentence right? Not sure how the law works.

I know, he's being tried under federal law.

I was just telling him it had nothing to do with age of consent cuz in virginia if you're old enough to drive, then you're old enough to ride.

That's why it's nuts I agree, they're just trying to fuck this kid over, and that attorney was gonna try to fulfill some fucked up fantasy after they had to make a new warrant. The judge threw the previous case out because the same prosecutor fucked up his own paperwork. But goddammit if the new warrant he wrote made sure he and those police officers were going to get new pictures of his flaccid and erect penis against his will just to stare at some more dick pictures and make sure they line up just right.

The parents should start a PR campaign across all the local media naming and shaming all of the police and prosecutors actively trying to get a look at this kid's penis.
