I'm sure it's been talked about before, but can someone confirm for me....the only deaths that were proven to be linked to the Weather Underground were the accidental deaths of members of same?

Love how Olbermann just tore down this stigma that somehow a plumber making $250K/yr in profits is "an average citizen."

Two possible reasons for this phenomenon:

-He has respect for Obama now that he's interviewed the guy (and that Obama, unlike Kerry, wasn't a no-show on the O'Reilly Factor).
-He sees the writing on the wall.
O'Reilly did say afterwards that he believes that Obama is an honest person after interviewing him.

Oh shit, Olbermann has a preview of McCain's Letterman appearance, and he hints that he was name-dropped during the sit down.

Dont feel like getting it, it was on NPR on the way home.

He isn't licensed to do plumbing in Ohio. In his divorce proceeding he claimed he made 40K.
He owes about 2000 dollars in back taxes.

Politico ran the "not registered to vote story"

edit: nevermind, he can vote.
He is also quoted as saying he doesnt believe in social security and that his idea on taxes is more akin to a flat tax.

On top of that the business he claims he wanted to buy that would yield close to and above 250,000 dollars would cost millions to buy. Its return on investment and if Joe wants to buy a company that yields a consistant yearly profit of 250,000 dollars, it would sell for at least a 3 to 5 million dollars. Hes what I call a sympton of the american propensity of grandeur the idea that I am eventually gonna be rich and therefore since thats gonna happen I dont want to be taxed when I get there.

Yeah, you buy businesses for 6-11 times their annual income as a general rule of thumb.

Even at the 100K dollars the business really makes, you are looking at a half million dollar outset if you struck a *really* good deal. That is tough to do for a guy making 40K a year.

He is a wingnut that made up a story to "get" Obama, and McCain fell for it.

Spelling First.

Everbody in the thread gettin' crazy.

Holy shit, apparently there was a leak on a nuclear submarine THIS year. So much for McCain's "But nuclear power is safe!" talk.

O'Reilly gets star struck pretty bad.

The best part is the fake concern on the mothers face and then her way to fast "ok, Ive got a plan" look.

Watch the mother face not the fat guy walking on the screen. Trust me. :lol

Seriously, I feel like this ad campaign has an undertone of "If gay marriage passes, your child will think you're a bigot."

This actually happened to my aunt (who lives in Massachusetts); her son and his best friend told her at age like, 6, that they were going to get married so they could play videogames together forever (aw). At a family reunion she was like, "What am I supposed to say? It's not illegal anymore!" My family is wicked Catholic and it would be easy to say, "The Church won't let you, honey," but instead she just didn't say anything. CAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A BIGOT.

(I don't think they're getting married any more than my sister is marrying her old kindergarten fiance from down the street, lol.)

Whoa. WTF just happened on Countdown??

I rewatched it, I think he is about to either puke or go nuts coughing.

He didnt actually do anything on air though, he just told the producer "No, I'm not going to make it to break. Go", and then they cut to commercial.

Holy shit, anyone watching O'Reilly? He's actually sticking up for Obama and shitting on McCain, some talk radio idiot (Laura Ingram) on there is dumbfounded and can't believe that he doesn't agree with her on Obama. Is this bizzaro world? O'Reilly has been sticking up for Obama the last couple of days.

O'Reilly has been sticking up for Obama for months. People can hate on O'Reilly for other stuff but among the Fox News usuals, he's been by far the best in being fair.

It wasn't this year. It was DISCOVERED this year. The leak had existed, undetected, for a couple years.

He's back. Took a drink from his cup, smiled, and continued on.

Whoa.....

Olbermann just brought up the National Review guy again after talking about the Pailin porno :lol

In regards to the Obama food stamp:

Olbermann: "Maybe it's not racism. Maybe you are just a moron."
