Thank you. I appreciate the acclaim. Too many people want to tear down one side or the other in the PC/Mac wars, but the different platforms best serve different people. We all need to learn to embrace the variety of options available to us instead of trying to claim one platform is simply "better." Such a description is wholly inadequate and does a disservice to the respective user bases.Only took a few posts for gems like this to show up.
It depends on the user. PC is better for critical thinkers and developers that demand precision and flexibility while Mac is better for limited worker drones that need as little barrier between them and a constant workflow as possible. There's plenty of room in this world for machines that cater to both types of people, and at the end of the day each person simply needs the best tool for the job.
True. So we can argue about which we feel better using as well as what's cheaper. PCs better specs, more inputs, costs less. Mac easy to use and fast. Those are the good things about each. Now the bad for each. PC can get infected as more viruses are made for it, can slow down if a driver isn't installed. Mac, costs more and has less ram, SSD space, lacks lots of freeware, costs 200 to 500 more. Overall for me it's about money value. PC intel core i7 12th gen, 16GB ram, 1TB SSD, $800. Mac mini M1, 16 GB ram, 1 TB SSD, $1,300. PCs hold more value for less money.Thank you. I appreciate the acclaim. All you managed to say was that Apple computers cost more. This is not a useful observation, and not the primary concern for people who can afford Apple computers.True. Yes exactly. Finding out which one is more liked. It's that simple. All you managed to say was that Apple computers cost more. This is not a useful observation, and not the primary concern for people who can afford Apple computers.
What does "can slow down if a driver isn't installed" mean, and why do you think it only applies to Windows PCs?
"PC can get infected as more viruses are made for it". This is not a smart thought. If anything the ubiquity and standardization of Apple hardware makes it easier to target malware for it.
Also what kind of poll says "which is better" as the only question? Better for what? For you personally?
Different use cases.
So? That's a serious advantage of Windows PCs, isn't it?You want a serious poll on a gaming website where most people choose pcs based on gaming..
It’s like taking a poll to see how many people are insane at an insane asylum. So? That's a serious advantage of Windows PCs, isn't it?
