Of course their is no valid reason to make that statement, but people (on GAF and Press sites) have been making the same statement about Knack for months and that's even before anyone played. This is the first time I have seen anyone offended by this statement.

I've seen a ton of streams today. I've seen Game Informer's, Game Radar's, Gamespot's, etc and I have not seen close to the amount of negativity or snark in any of them combined compared to what Polygon is doing. I'm sorry, but gaming can be fun, and it's fun playing around with a new toy and new games. I just feel sorry for the people that trust their opinions on this stuff when we really only get these type of releases once every six or seven years.

ugh AAA is a budget related comment. A big budget exclusive = Killzone SF. So yes that's an out right lie

Not sure how this is based on opinion. Opinion has nothing to do with PS+ games. Knack has been discussed as a potential future PS+ because it's a low budget game. Sony has never released their first party big AAA titles within months to PS+ especially a shooter. It's a comment that's based on absolutely no valid logical reason.

Also don't use the term 'offended' so easily. Just because people think he is full of shit for the comments doesn't mean they are offended...it just means they think he is full of shit. A comment about one's sex, gender etc could potentially offend someone..not something trivial like this.

All of their tech guys feel nothing more than your average guys that only know about the big mainstream games, and occasional 'cool' indies.

Yes, they liked what they saw on Titanfall. They prefer it over all other games coming next year, and they're recommending that based on their opinion. Cool.

That doesn't really excuse their overall ignorance and disregard of the PS4 exclusive library for 2014, and their job is to at least inform of what's the most exciting PS4 exclusive coming next year, from their opinion.

They didn't even answer it, and just said they thought Titanfall was the most exciting one for next year.
