I guess I'll just leave this here. Polygon has a live daily video podcast they do called "Friends List".
A few days ago they did one on the next gen consoles. Gies was on and referred to the XB1's exclusives at launch as "an embarrassment of riches", in comparison to the PS4 lineup.

The XB1 has the more appealing launch if only for the fact that there's a good deal of stuff there, but "embarrassment of riches" is laughable and completely expected from Gies.

Features and Vox Media webpage wizardry are what makes them tolerable. All that technology behind their visuals are kinda wasted on them.

[EDIT] I take that back, I don't play sports games and I'm pretty wrong on this. For something with that much movement and interaction it looks fairly good.
Not to turn this into an Arthur dump fest but seriously, what is up with that guy. I would sometimes listen to rebelFM and he just shits on every game the other guys talk about and complains about everything he plays. Do you even like video games, why do you work in this industry when you think everything is a boring remake of another game and just complain about how you have so much work all the time.
Polygon does put up some solid features and I'll read most of Justin Mcelroy's stuff but generally they seem to want to get their reviews up first with a completely pointless score of a version of the game nobody will ever play since every game has a day one patch.
Also stop complaining about how shitty Oakland is and move, everyone knows it sucks.

I see people post that they're playing 2K, click on the feed - right away I get hit with a Forza comparison, lol. I mean WTF, they're playing basketball and the guy's going on about "this looks good, but Forza just looks incredible, which of course you would expect."
That said, I think this just sold me on 2K, it looks amazing.

Because being in a position in the gaming media or any media for that matter is supposed to mean putting the consumer and your reporting of news to said consumer first. I don't mind that he has an opinion, far from it. Opinions are great and you can express it any way you want but when he lets his opinion bleed into something he is supposed to be reporting about, it is dishonest and disingenuous to the consumer.

Well you have to take into account that these people are supposed to be professionals in this field, and are supposed to act accordingly and avoid conflicts of interest and questions of their integrity.
There's a standard of behaviour we expect, and this stream is well below it.
