I'm sure Balatro is a fun game, but #1. No Stellar Blade or Wukong? But Veilgaurd is on there? Polygon , never change. That way you can go under faster.

Stellar Blade has great vibes with the music and visuals (beyond just the character) but I agree it isn't anything special gameplay wise. Good but not great, could be in the top 50 depending on taste, but not shocking it isn't.

Balatro I enjoy a lot but it has to be the most overrated game of the year.

I do not get the hype for Balatro. And this isn't about Indies or deckbuilders either. I LOVE Slay the Spire and consider it one of the best games ever. Dicey Dungeons is dope too. But I dropped Balatro after a week back in March.
