if we got one wacky inclusion, i kind of want to see a character like Zack and Wiki to take that slot just because the style, just to see how he they would translate.

If it will have a MCU focus why would it have Inhumans characters? It's not like they'll have their own movie after all.

lol

Okay, if there is a reveal this week, what I want to know is, why so soon? Why would they take the chance after the still-recent debacle that was the Street Fighter 5 release? Especially when they said they want to focus on SFV until 2020 then maybe look at other games.

Also what would be the selling point? What's going to move copies off shelves? The rumored 2v2 for accessibility? The focus on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to appeal to those that love the movies? Mark my words, if there's a reveal, there is going to be something large and unexpected.

What about getting a BoF character?
Just 1 isn't asking for much.
I need something after BoF series was buried 6 feet under after 5.

For starters, he needs a real second super.

Either he'll call in the Hulk Buster armor and get buffs, hyper armor, more damage output, new moves etc.

Or calling in his other armors - Shotgun, Red Snapper, Sneaky, Striker, Heartbreaker, etc. as specials or a hyper move.

They never said focus on SF5 until 2020 and then look at more fighters.

SF5 has planned support until 2020. That doesn't preclude other fighting games coming out.

Maximum Spider is a perfectly balanced super. UWT is also very good and in fact broken in some cases.

Maximum Spider is a combo hyper and it goes through projectile. You can punish some stuff with it, it has utility.

UWT is a reset and set up throw. It is in fact broken in some cases and can lead to a full team kill. You get a full combo off of UWT.

Spider Man is a very strong character in Marvel 3 and plays very much like how you would expect Spider Man to play in these types of games. He is just hard to play and has some awkwardness/learning curve to him.

Spider-man needed some dumb things to make him more user-friendly. He's one of the most complicated characters to play as in UMvC3 (and for good reason, since he is actually kinda crazy), but why choose him over FOOTDIVE/BERSERKER SLASH/Vergil's everything?

Having no good assists also did not help his case.

Ono went on to discuss the chances of the game's publisher, Capcom, releasing a non-Street Fighter fighting game before the next entry in the SF series: "I'd be happy if we could. But first, we'd have to solidify Street Fighter V as an eSports title. I said in the beginning that we've seen a higher number of entrants than we had in the Street Fighter IV era, but we'd like to heighten that even further.

It's not as extreme as I said, but that's where they seem to be leaning. Just seems odd.

You have to admit, if they announce MvC4 on Saturday, that'll be a lot sooner than anyone expected.

Yeah...that says they want to solidify SF5 as an esports title. Which is great, and pretty much done. More announcements coming this Saturday (or Friday) for SF5.

If a game is announced, it would be a year away at the earliest, and probably 2018. That's a lot of time.

But yeah, I agree. I don't think this is real, and I've said as much about SF5 in this thread...or the other thread. Hard to keep track.

I like the way you think.

Plus, assuming Strider and Moto Kikaku aren't available for the game's initial roster, you'd at least make sure Capcom had one cool "McNinja" on its side to likely answer whoever the Marvel side may produce.

Speaking of which, I wonder who Marvel may pick for a similar role? Daredevil? White Tiger?
