Oh man waking up to this new rumor. I was JUST thinking the other night how I'd like to see Agent Carter as a character JUST to hear Hayley Atwell in a VS game or if Luke Cage was in the game they'd get Mike Colter. Was thinking of posing the question to this thread last night (What character would you want in just to hear their MCU actor voice them?), now I regret that I didn't, that would've been hilarious.
I don't know about the whole voiceover thing. I can see it for minor characters or the TV side of the MCU. Just seems a little far-fetched to me. Wouldn't mind being wrong though.

For themselves, maybe. But you what would be awesome? If everyone could get the game on their system of choice and they allowed cross-platform play. Obviously if they're funding it, they have no business incentive to allow it, and it's not a likely real-world scenario, but just saying. Although that's not even the case with Tekken 7 which is totally 3rd party.

And not only it has a completely different market share than SF5 in a "casuals vs EVO" way, but it makes so much sense to make a new Capcom Smash Bros in the ages of Smash Bros being the biggest selling fighting game of all time, with a version on a DEAD CONSOLE selling way more than SF5 ever dreamed

yeah that would create some gameplay types. I'm hoping we see Gamora or Ronin but more so Ronin just because this would need more villains. He also has potential with his hammer and a infinity stone.

Mechanic could work, they had something akin to that with Amaterasu.
I'm not expecting the best game but I'd personally be fine with this
- 2v2 + 1 assist
- No X-Men
- MCU mostly Marvel characters
- Capcom characters included, divided halfway (if not MCU has 2 more unlockable character or something idk)
- MvC3 control scheme
- Megaman X and Monster Hunter on Capcom's side
That's not the best game we can get, that's not the worst game we can get. Just in the middle. If they go this route then they'd be able to pull it off. It won't take much to please Capcom's playable characters. Use most of the UMvC3 roster and just add in X and MH and we're good.
