I've been trying to push for Sigma forever. Classic X1 Sigma would be dandy. X4 with the tattered cloak? Cool. Sigma from X2 with the Wolverine claws? Dope. So many possibilities.

Then imagine him getting a Devil Trigger style level 3 that puts him in one of his final forms, like X3 Kaiser or something.

To be honest, I always wished that the marvel games would have multiple-triple staged bosses similar to that of the Capcom/SNK series. Depending on your progress/characters/etc, you would fight different final and secret bosses.

So, picture going one path and fighting:

Sigma (X1 Lightsabre Sigma, X3 Mecha Sigma, X2 Wire Frame Sigma virus)

Or

William Birkin (Gtype with pipe, Gtype 3 with double mouth, Gtype 4/Tenancled Blob)

At the moment, I can't think of anything Marvel sided - any thoughts?

This is beginning to worry me. I almost hope this isn't real. I can't take another year of waking up every day with hype for another MvC and waiting for the next event and announcement, scouring the net for any scrap of gameplay like a vulture.

I'm fucking 26 man, I don't need this to happen.

I don't see a MVC without Wolverine. I can see every other mutant getting the shove but someone has to just suck it up and spend the money for him.

I like a lot of other x-men but I don't feel like they are NEEDED like wolvie.

Its not like Marvel would have to pay Fox or anything to use Wolverine. Fox has movie rights, not game rights. Marvel has taken a stance of not promoting X-Men because of their little squabble going on. Marvel Heroes has all of the X-Men. Or most anyway.

This is just one of those times that they choose not to promote X-Men because they have so many other characters to choose from. Its a win-win for Marvel.

I'm actually pretty excited to see an MvC roster that contains a marvel side not being 1/3 X-Men. I'd like to see which inhumans make it in too. Give them a chance to impress before dismissing it due to no X-Men. They are just one of many marvel properties.

Punisher would be more like Chris Redfield based on the type of guns he uses. And going off of Cable's last appearance he uses beam rifle and Psi-mitar and more futuristic weaponry.

I was more basing it off his appearance in Daredevil on Netflix since it was reported that it was an MCU focus. But that is still interesting to know. I just don't want Black Panther being a Wolverine clone.

I wonder if Deadpool can be used. From what I understand there is a different film deal for him than the X-Men. He was originally part of a film deal with New Line cinema and Fox bought those up.

Deadpool CAN be used either way, Marvel has his game rights. It's just a question of whether or not Marvel sees him as worth putting in over a character whose film appearances they can profit from.

Honestly, I think the best thing would be if the game had no FF or X-Men characters EXCEPT for Deadpool... and he frequently commented on that fact.
