I didn't much care for many vanilla MvC character tracks.

Now the new songs added in Ultimate? GUDHYPESHIT. I still listen to a few of them.

Man, she had such a great chance being in when Capcom was adding in their non-legacy Arcade characters yesteryear.

I disagreed. I think both communities are equally in how rapid they are with the rumors, dreams and news. I meant, I followed POTD threads so close and I have seen some people would believe the rumors in heartbeat because it had their favorite characters on the list. However, people are very thirsty for new Marvel Vs. Capcom, comparing to Smash Bros right now because we haven't seen a brand new marvel game for 5 years or so.

2017 might be going to be one of most exciting ride for me in term of fighting games. There is a rumor that we might get Smash for Nintendo Switch, and we might get brand new contents there as well, and it also rumored to be released in 2017 as well. Same for MVC4 and it's release date as well. Two of my favorite franchises are getting brand new games in 2017, along with Street Fighter getting new characters for Season 2.

Hype Train is going to be very crazy next year if the rumors are right. We are going to see SmashGAF Vs. MarvelGAF! ;P

yeah UMVC3 in particular had a great soundtrack. Dr. Strange, Nova, Ghost Rider, all kinds of good stuff. Original release too, I liked the Winds of Madness remix for Wesker.

Doom, Taskmaster, and Sent had the best themes.

i really hope that Roll is based off of TvC Roll. and Capcom actually acknowledging Power Stone is farfetched.

Marvel side is alright, Capcom side is terrible outside of Edward Falcon.

And Classic at that! Yeah seems really fake to me, though I'd LOVE Roll and the Marvel side of that list.

While we're talking about music. I do like MvC2's Jazz soundtrack as an original fighting game composition even though I prefer remixes in the VS games (kinda goes with the whole "fanservice" element of the series) The newcomer themes sounded pretty good, but the remixes are really hit or miss. Some theme remixes like Cap's kinda go overboard with the Electro aspect. Better than the lazy "90s MIDI" from TvC CGOH themes though.

They should give Thor his hammer throw back tho. He had it in early development but they took it away because they deemed it too strong for some reasons. I can't really remember the information here.
 
The list is a bunch of joke/obscure characters that only people on forums know about or care about.

The general public and casuals don't care about that... you can't open the Marvel 4 announcement with those characters.

Like those characters are fine if they are revealed later on but starting out would not be a great idea.
 
What time EST is capcom cup on Saturday? And around what time are we expecting the big announcement ?

Iuno...that's kind of most Marvel characters that aren't in the MCU and pretty much every Capcom character that isn't SF, RE, or DMC. :P
