Polygon leaked Ant-Man & Groot, which they later stated were characters that they were told about. Tom Phillips of Eurogamer also backed this up when I asked Tom about it on Twitter.

Somehow I feel Gene will be left out.... God Hand wasn't really relevant when MvC3 came out and that was his best chance, and now God Hand is as obscure as can be.
Thinking about it a bit more, it's kind of weird that Polygon would report that there might be something in store for MvC3 fans, but not even speculate/suggest it could be a port. So this source basically told him there will be something in store for MvC3 fans and.. that's it?

Probably just a port for current-gen consoles. I bet he wanted to save it when he had more confirmation (or for another article) and not let UMVC3 take over the MVC4 news. Honestly if even that came out, I would be completely happy. MVC4 is just icing on the cake for, no matter what it turns out to be.
