PS5 & PC.

The kids have the PS5 in their room, while I have the Pro in the lounge and the PC in my office/study.

We have a Switch and a Deck as well, but they doesn't get much use.

PlayStation is my primary, with Nintendo consoles bringing up the rear.
The ratio of times I spend using each is something like 99% of the time on PlayStation, to 1% of the time on Nintendo.

As for the why, well, I don't mean to be a buzzkill but I am nobody, and no one here is really going to care why I choose certain brands and platforms lol. I'm finally flirting with the idea of buying a gaming PC to add to the mix.

PC because, well, the same good old reasons: retrocompatibility, mods, catalogue, emulators, indie games, versability, having games from everywhere, etc. Maybe not the most original reasons...but they're enough to me :). I'm not multiplataformer because money though, but I don't hate consoles, I was a happy console gamer in the past and it's great who can have two or more platforms.

PC

After finally putting the time in on Arma 3 (A game I bought on day 1 but never really getting stuck in..), the PC reminded me of what I already found out years years ago. The PC is far and away the platform of the more 'refined' gamer and offers a much more in depth gaming experience all round.

A quick video I made after getting used to everything..

You just don't get this on consoles

And don't get me started on modding and workshops, oh my 🧐

PS5 Pro by far, I spend all day on a pc working and have no desire to do so after I punch out. Though I did get a deck recently so that's been fun too.
