Justice for Rebel Heart!


It's not the trash I expected it to be. Sure, there are fragments of trash on it, but most of it is really solid. Sound/genre wise it's all over the place, with all the different producers and guest appearances, but I actually like it on Rebel Heart (unlike on MDNA). It feel like she's throwing every tune she and her entourage can muster up against the wall, and seeing what sticks. A lot of it does.


Probably due to low expectations, but I'm impressed. Rebel Heart is most definitely a lot better than both MDNA and Hard Candy.

For a lead song/video that was destined to go viral but ended up not getting even 20m+ within 3 weeks is pretty bad. It's nowhere to be found on iTunes, and it's not even in the top 80 in the hot 100. So Carly pretty much failed to happen.
