I learned the phrase "Mommy Porn" from someone at the studio we were doing voice recording. Apparently it refers to books like "50 Shades of Grey" and its ilk.

On an related note, I make it a point to use said phrase every chance I get.

I've been playing with my Gamecube a lot lately and a few weeks ago I found out about the eject button by accident.

See the spin motor that holds the disc in place in the middle? That's a goddman button, if you push it, the disc pops out.

11 years and I found about this now by accident.

60 is a great number when you need to divide up things that are programatically generated.

It is the lowest number that is divisible by 1 through 6 as well as being divisible by 5, 10, 12, 15, 20 and 30.

What does this even mean?

If every part of your body has a corresponding part in your brain that triggers pain in said part, how would that work for the brain itself? The brain would need a zone within itself that triggers pain for itself. And if it exists, what happens when I try to inflict pain on the part of my brain that's supposed to control pain in my brain? In the end you'd get an infinite recursion loop.

Therefore, it is inevitable that the brain cannot feel pain.

Edit: I just made this fine drawing to show you the idea:

I'm taking Enviromental Bio. Yesterday our professor was talking about how the UN/WHO dropped DDT in Borneo to control the spread of Malaria by killing the Mosquitos.

Though the eventual destruction of the food chain, Borneo's cats ended up dying. Since the cats died the rat population went up making everyone much sicker. To alleviate the problem the UN flew over Borneo and parachuted cats over the villages. Poor kitties

I also learned from Drunk History that Elvis had a Bearau of Narcotics and Drugs badge, Al Capone's brain rotted itself stupid because he didn't treat his syphillis.

Exactly. It's like that container paradox. You can also surgically remove the top of someone's skull and eat their brain while they're still conscious. You just have to make sure to eat the more non-vital portions.

I got a pamphlet from the vet and apparently male cats have penile spines that scrape the inside walls to trigger ovulation and catch other cats sperm on the way out so that cat has a better chance to get the female cat pregnant.

If you're having your first summer fling, and you know it's only temporary, just relax and enjoy it. Don't over analyze.

Shit, I'm in my mid-thirties and it's been one of the most amazing summers of my life but it's been a bit of a struggle to accept the impermanence of it all. Eventually you just have to let go and let life handle it, man.

Wait how did you get the disks out without knowing that?

I would be surprised if you didn't break any disk in those years...

France had the third largest population in the world from the middle ages until 1800.

It was basically 1/4 of the population of Europe.

WHAT. Guess I learned something recently.

So in simple terms, if you inflict pain on something that interprets and "produces" pain sensations (i.e the brain), the pain would fall into recursion and go on forever?
