Are Boxing Day sales really just for one day? We have them in the UK, but they extend well into January generally (and are often called the January sales now instead).

I could do with some new clothes for example, and it'd obviously be best to get them during a sale, but if it's one day only then I don't think I can be fucked with the crowds.

True, it's more like a week long in both the US & Canada.
