Those god damn ads. I don't get it. Are people actually "inspired"? Are they actors? I feel like I should be a giant asshole, find those people at the time they "said" and check up on how they're doing.

I was over with all the other nerds in the engineering school, specifically electrical engineering. I've actually got a few internships under my belt, but no job leads yet. I'm sure you will find something as well, if you haven't already.

I was actually in Russ a ton during my final semester working with one of the eco challenge teams. I'm sure you'll find something good with the experience and majoring in EE. There are jobs out there.

I'm actively looking, but I had the benefit/issue of having an ok paying job while going to school that wasn't in my field and I've wanted to avoid taking a massive pay cut just for the experience. Just have to keep hunting.

The people in the ads are actual students and alumni. I agree that it is dumb but most people apply to be in the ads because if they are chosen, they get free tuition for a year. Not a bad deal.

They needed some sort of inspiring ad to negate the whole "if you can hold a fork, you can go to York" thing.

Comp Sci with a dual in psychology, you? The meh is more that I prefer being on co-op more than being in classes and that I'm ready to graduate than anything about me disliking the school.

Dual econ and math. Going on co-op for the first time this Summer II/Fall, so I'll see if I prefer it, too. Cool to see other people from here on GAF.
