Currently in my 2nd semester at American University, home of the least creative college name ever.

Ah, a friend goes there.

Undergrad:

Major was Political Science, with minors in History and Philosophy

Grad:

MFA in Film Production

I'll be graduating quite young (24) and I'm not exactly excited over the prospect of staying in LA and working as a PA or an Assistant Editor or something similar... I'm just not confident I have my shit figured out yet. I'm interested in starting a small media production company so I might get another degree (an MBA perhaps). If I did, I'd probably use the opportunity to spend a year or two in Japan. I might try and hit up:

Then I'll probably move back to Canada. Vancouver, probably.

I dunno, I met Futureman, he's a cool dude...more inclined to trust his opinion...i mean, you guys could be shills, i dunno! ;)

Hah. Good point.
Guess you'll just have to try them both!
(Let me know if you need help finishing the Antoon's pie.)

Hahahaha no I meant a GAF member named COOLIO went there. He made a thread about how his GPA was 1.4.

I've always wanted to catch someone browsing GAF in the library or something. Never happens :(

Oooh! I read that at as "Coolio, I went there..." hah (probably because I use coolio way to much in my everyday speech :p). I actually remember that thread now that you mention it!

And to your second part, I have a few GAF t-shirts and the brother of a girl in my house in first year who was visiting recognized it and we had a quick chat about GAF. That was the first time I met someone who used GAF outside of a Toronto meet up.

Where's the community college peeps at!!!
:'(

Well, I started out at one (did my last semester of high school there as well through dual-enrollment), and I suppose I did technically get an Associate's there, but it was just a step on the way to transferring to a 4-year University, so I never really think of it too much.

But:

Hey, a logo with the Hebrew on it as well. Don't see that too often.

Residency: Everybody has heard of this school due to the football and basketball team and there love for saying "THE Ohio State University" in a smug tone.

I'm currently attending Evergreen

But I'm transferring here after

Oh whoa, was going there for a long while. Transferred to CSU East Bay, considering transferring to SJSU because it's closer to me.

Same. UMaine Alum.

Edit: ZZMitch representing UMaine as well. I am kind of surprised, three UMaine students in 10 pages.

I actually go to University of Toronto (my dad was Canadian so I get cheap tuition up here) but I was born in raised in Maine and always rep Maine when I can :P

UMaine is a nice school though, I like the campus and stuff. I would have gone there if they had given me some more money (to make it significantly cheaper than UofT). It also would have been high school all over again since about half of my graduating class went there heh. But I would have enjoyed it I think.

Ahhh I see. A lot of people from my HS went there as well as it was only about 45-50 minutes away. Not a bad school overall. I was just surprised to see Maine getting so much action this early in the thread...
