Post your 3DMark05 score!

2444

Athlon 2800+
1 GB RAM
BBA 9800 Pro
Using the latest beta drivers, 4.9 I believe.

I'm very impressed with the demos this year. In 3dmark03 they looked like ass, and not just because its been a year and a half since it came out. I remember watching the bomber test when it came out and thinking it looked lame. And the FPS demo was stupid too.

This year they all look insane.

I got artifacts on almost all of them.

I'm using a GT, but coming off of a 9800Pro that was practically an archeologist.
Tell me more about the artifacts.

someone want to point me the way to the test?

Ditto, although having a lowly Athlon XP2000, 512MB of 2100, and a softmodded Radeon 9800SE, I don't expect much out of it.

Umm, there's a new version out of 3dMark already? I just ran 04 on my machine about a month ago and got about a 11000... did they change their scoring method?

Graphics Chipset NVIDIA GeForce 6800

The newest ATI driver boosts their score by like 1000...

Optimizing? Nahh..

The 4.9 officials were only using 128 megs of the RAM during tests for some odd reason with 256 meg cards. The betas use all 256 megabytes, and fix numerous bugs in KOTOR and such.

There wasn't a 3DMark04, only 03, and 01.

Tell me more about thehe artifacts.
On the forest sequence, i kept getting flat triangle polys across my screen. Just other minor problems.

DSN2K, how did you score higher with a standard 6800 then the 6800 GT i have?

I love posts like these. You do know that the scores only jump by 1000 with upcoming drivers on the 256MB AGP cards, right. The score increases due to a fix in the memory controller. The PCI Express cards always had the higher score.

3DMark has approved all recent ATI drivers as not being optimized for the test, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Edit: Looks like I type too slow :p

if you get artifacts then your card is clocked too high or your divers are not good uninstall and install again.

Beautiful. :)

STARTING 3D MARK BATCH MODE.

TESTING....

YOUR PC IS SHIT. GREAT A REAL FUCKING VIDEOCARD CHEAPSKATE.

3DMARKSCORE: FUCK ALL.

:(

Dark10x what videocard is this?

Athlon 64 3000,1 Gig ram and Radeon 9800 Pro:

2432 3dmarks

I will pick up one of the Next gen cards when they are out next spring :)

"What the hell? :(

Radeon 9800 Pro

1024 PC3200 Kingstons

AMD64 3000+

...2260 points?"

If this is anythink like 3dmark03, the points are like 95% your video card. If you get a 6800 Ultra OC or X800XT PE you'll jump over 5000 me thinks.

I'm downloading now...I don't expect much. I have a strong system, but my video is going to cap me somewhere around 2500.

Ive been 0wned
boo

hm....

wtf, something's wrong with my system.

I got 1321

System:
Intel P4 3.0C @ 3.4 GHz
1024 MB of OCZ PC4000 RAM (running at like 3500) in Dual Channel
Sapphire 9800 Pro 128 MB onboard
160 GB Seagate Barracuda.

And 9800 NP are getting 1700? What's going on here?

I've got the drivers from 9/9...

The bench ran extremely slow too...

Is my video card in its death bed?

Ran a second time after reboot, turned off anti-virus protection and it crashed during the second test and it said "Ran out of video memory"

Went and turned of V-sync and ran a 3rd time and I get a 1036.

I've heard about sapphires crapping out, dammit.

I've noticed it doesn't run any of the batch file tests or feature tests...

I'm going to try again with all OCing off.

I got artifacts on almost all of them.

I get artifacts on the nature one and the BOTH cpu test. I recorded my cpu temps and they went as high as 67. Offcourse, then I remembered that my fan was manually on low. After adjusting my fan, my cpu temps, never went past 55. I had no warnings from my videocard and it's not overclocked.

Don't worry if you're getting lower numbers then the ones being reported. Sites are using a magic beta nvidia driver, and ATI just this morning is getting their magic beta driver approved by Futuremark. So don't be surprised if your 61.77's and 4.9 cat's aren't giving you the scores you expect on your X800's and 6800's.

Also note that ATI's magic driver (4.10) supposedly give the X800's a major boost. talking from 49XX to 58XX.

On another note, in DX9 according to 3DMARK05, the 9600XT outperforms the 5900 cards.

3dmark05: 2359

Return to Proxycon - 10.6 fps
Firefly Forest - 6.4 fps
Canyon Flight - 12.4 fps (goddamn that looked good)

ASUS P4C800E-Deluxe i875P + DDR400 512MB x 2 dual channel
ATI 9800 Pro (Catalyst 4.9)

The forest and pirate ship scene were awesome. I would be satisified with next generation consoles if that's "all" the graphics were achieving (1080i and 60FPS).

Rerunning those scenes for the CPU stress test was some painful shit to watch though.

Edit: Jeez to some of the scores. I don't feel so bad about my high 2200 score. 333DDR (512 * 2 Dual Channel. Any overclocking and my second stick rebels). 2500 Barton that was at stock and 9800 NP at stock. Haven't been doing any gaming the last week (other than oldies) and turned everything back to normal.

Okay. I reran the demo with my Doom 3 settings. The overclocking is not the max the components can do, but at these settings I don't get rises in heat (which is important considering location).

Barton 2500 @ 166*12
Kingston ValueRAM 333MHZ 512*2 (Stock - Dual Channel)
Radeon 9800 GPU @ 355 Memory @ 303
1024 * 32Bit
Catalyst 4.9

Score: 2365
10.4
6.7
12.1
2788
1.3
2.7

The above post wasn't stock CPU. It was 166*11.5 (Stock is 166*11).

Edit: And by important, I'm not just talking about wear on the parts, I'm talking about the heat exhausted into the room. So even a couple degrees C is unwelcome on my part.

Gotta love how Dark10x's shot was right at 60. I mean, I know that he knows to turn of V-sync before running a benchmark, but he still got a perfect 60 shot.

Since he didn't do it, I'll post his system specs:

P4 2.4 non Hyperthreaded 500mhz fbs
Saphire 9700 Pro
1gig DDR ram

I've upgraded my machine twice since he's had that, I predict high 3000's for my GT.

Back then, I was so proud of getting a 2.4 GHZ with a GeForce 4 Ti when they were the hottest cards, but 3DMark 03 raped it.

I am looking at the scores and framerates average and I think it'll rape it too.

Ok i upgraded my drivers, seems i was running with the stock ones :lol

3DMark Score 4609 3DMarks
CPU Score 5136 CPUMarks

AMD 3500+, x800 pro, 1gb of ram.

I'd like confirmation of this. Because if those specs are getting that framerate, something is seriously fucked up on my setup.

Those are his specs, I've been around it enough to know. Fucker wouldn't hook up his front USB until I opened the damn thing up myself.

Unless that particular demo doesn't ever touch 60 for anybody, then I'd assume that he just hit a real easy patch and took the snap then.
