Honestly, if I bought a PC/Handheld with ProtonOS I wouldn't bother installing Windows on it

If you gotta do all that why not just get a regular prebuilt and use Steam Big Picture mode like everyone else when you want to navigate the UI with a controller.

Anticheats is one of the only things that the devs have to explicitly support for linux (for EAC it's a single switch to turn). If Steam Machines gain enough popularity this wont be a problem anymore.
