... Mr Bob can never complain about Mario Party again. :/

i know it's either samurai warrior 2 or dynasty warriors 5 for ps2 2005, it is part of koei's game release cycle :lol , now just hopeing for capcom to announce onimusha 4 for ps2 or ps3

They're milking it for all it's worth. They're smart, because sooner or later the infatuation with the series will die down.

DW5 XL will be an add on to DW5 you need the original disc buy!

I never said anything bad about Mario Party the game. I said since Nintendo releases yearly itereations they should change the title to represent the year the game came out instead of a regular number. I.E. Mario Party 2004 instead of Mario Party 6. Now, since Koei likes to make yearly additions to their main hack and slash series I say the same thing!

Dynasty Warriors 2005!

I've seen like two different press releases on this game and no game info is mentioned. I want to know if it is finally online but I doubt it!

As much as I love the series I was hoping part 5 would release on PS3. Honestly, what else can they do? They've pretty much pushed the PS2 hardware as far as they can, probably. Hell, they made the characters smaller in SW just to cram more onscreen.

Yup. I"m interested to see what is in DW5 because I think technically the PS2 has been pushed as hard as it could be pushed with this series. I'm awaiting a PS3 version to see a rebirth for this franchise. More powerful hardware can push this series into a much more exciting direction

I think they can squeeze more out of the PS2 if they've made a new engine for DW5, cause DW2 was a 1st gen game and DW3 & 4 looked like they were just using some tweaked version of it

I liked the direction the Empires entry went.
Hopefully they'll expand on that.
In my admittedly nerdy Koei dreams, they merge ROTK and DW into one glorious game.

This would be the shit!

I'm hoping for some more strategy elements as well!

Damn.

The series sure could use some fresh ideas, and perhaps a new engine. I skipped Empires, maybe I should pick that up and give it a shot. Please, Koei, don't use the smaller character design from Samurai Warriors- the detailed characters of DW4 were missed.
