Prey was honourable, but mainly because of the recent competition. Killer of Killers has a couple of entertaining episodes, but it still pulled the curtain too far back on the enigmatic predator lifeform, further undermining the mystique. Which is where this movie gets it all wrong. It looks like fucking Predator: The Bold & the Beautiful.

Yea was the same with Prey and Killers Of Killers (not specifically citing him as I don't know him) but pattern where people watch low quality political content like The Critical Drinker and other "anti-woke" channels and run onto the internet wanting it fail with bad faith arguments under the guise of objectivity.

Again, to reiterate not specifically talking about DirtInUrEye, more a general observation.

Seeing it right now, spam cope replies at the shock a movie is well received after a series of well received movies.

Sorry for taking a view guys. I'm simply a big supporter of the original film and this movie looks like the antithesis of everything that makes it great. I yearn for a proper second sequel in the series.

For what it's worth, 'Critical Drinker' (and their ilk) is lowest common denominator dross, it's pond life entertainment.

Saw it in IMAX.
It was cool, I could do without some of the jokey bits though, but the predator is a brutal warrior throughout.
There aren't any humans to slice apart so I guess that's an easy way to get the rating down, but everything he does kill gets utterly destroyed.

With modern movies, 50 - 60% is a more reliable barometer of whether a movie is potentially worth having a look at, because it can often indicate that there may be a debate surrounding it. When I see new movies get universal gushing 80%+ on RT it almost always turns out to be "amazing - according to reddit".
