First round game is a gimmie against Binghamton. Then they'll get the winner of Colorado/College of Charlston. If they win that they should be playing Arizona in the semi's and Wake in the title game IF they make it that far.

Man, where's your Tar Heel pride? I think we'll either finish first or second in the ACC. We're essentially the same team as last year, + Marvin Williams and Quentin Thomas, and the players have had a year together under Roy's system. Roy's first team at Kansas got 19 wins and then for the next 12-15 years averaged around 28 wins a season. Hopefully, that'll happen with us

Kansas #1 is bullshit. If they used the same rationale for every team, Oklahoma State would be ranked much higher--Kansas lost only one of their top 4 scorers, but so did OSU. They're also a Final Four team with four returning starters, an amazingly strong bench, and solid recruits.

John Lucas will fucking OWN the Big XII this year. He's faster, stronger, and a much better shooter than last year. Mark my words.

I only wish we had played in the Final Four--then we'd have a MUCH better indication of where these teams are. If only we played you more than once. Maybe in the national title game?

Maybe one year they will win in Chapel Hill...maybe. Funny how UNC won 8 games a couple of years ago, broke all their streaks, except one lol.


Duke is ranked 12th, but it IS gonna be tough in the ACC. Besides UNC, GT, and Wake, Duke, NC State, and Maryland are all Top 25. Considering how much they'll beat each other up though, there were probably only be 4 teams ranked top 25 at the end of the year. There certainly won't be 3 ranked in the Top Five.

Seriously though, I've been to two GT/Clemson battles in football in SC. The first was four years ago, GT led the whole game, Clemson came back to take the lead late, and GT caught a 4th down pass to win. The second was this past year, where Clemson led the whole game, GT finally forced a punt, there was a bad snap, and GT scored on the last play of the game. I'm taking collections to keep me from going to another GT/CU game, name your price. I'm the good luck charm for GT
