printer sharing help needed

Ok, here's my problem in a nutshell:

I'm no network wizard here. My wife is working from home now, and needs a printer. We have to pc's hooked up with a dlink router. I can't share mine on the network because she has to log onto her work domain (and I obviously can't)...she can't log into the PC locally. I can't simply hook the printer up to her box becuase it needs sofware installed and for some ungodly reason they sent her home with a PC and no admin rights (&%*$^&#@!).

Is there any way to share a printer with two pc's on two different domains? I suppose my last resort is just making her throw her docs on a floppy every day and take them to my pc.

Thanks.

Investing in a USB stick is worth the hassle with floppies. I bought a 256mb stick for 20 euros 2 months ago.

Otherwise, I gather from the story that the printer is NOT a network printer. So the only way to share it now is when it's installed on your PC, and your wife's PC is able to communicate with it. Whether this is possible depends on the way the router is et up and how your wife logs onto het work-domain.

I figured that wouldn't be possible without a print server. I didn;t know how she'd see my printer if it didn't have an IP address.

Hmm...maybe I will just go buy a USB stick...I've been meaning to get one anyways.

net use lpt1 \\rusty\printer /user:RustyDomain\RustyUsername

I'm a little scratchy with net use, but try that on her machine.
