Printing game boxarts

I wanted to try printing out a different cover for Ico (to cover up the horrendous one we got), but I am not sure how to scale this thing (using the scan from Maskrider's site). Also, I am using the type of paper that they use for posters (semi-glossy, kinda thin, the kind they use for GC game covers), what type of paper should that be set as in my printer setting (glossy photo? high resolution?)?
I tried printing some other things today but either the colour turns out dull or the blacks seem to be all runny.

Anyone got experience with this kinda thing?

In the past I've used standard glossy photo paper and fairly default settings printer-wise (past putting it on high quality). My results were always really good, and pretty hard to tell from the original. Sounds like it probably is the paper you're using that's giving you the problems. It's been years since I've printed any replacement Game/DVD art, though, so maybe I'm not remembering correctly.
