I am sorry, in some moments I was just throwing the ball around aimlessly... the lag was not bad overall, just had some really upsetting moments hehe.

Yeah PES rankings is very cluncky for knockout tournaments but I can see it very useful for a league.

My Arbeloa was grey and Agger was blue, definately would have used Arbeloa against Ronaldo.

I don't usually do long balls but I couldn't make space on the ground I suck at recieving balls in the air, and how the heck did you shove past my players to get the ball? The CPU does it to me to but I always bounce off the back off people when I nick the ball off them. :/

There are several issues with the new release but the ones I am mainly concerned about for our users is the Achievements on xbox 360 version and Online play on both versions. Are you aware of how bad the online lag is at the moment both on the xbox 360 version and PS3 version? I am sure you have seen it for yourself and admit this needs to be fixed as a priority.

Yes the lag needs to be sorted out and is an issue we have been working on since a week before official release when we were first made aware of the issues. To minimise lag, try to play against people from your own country and turn all other Internet using equipment off.

Some people have reported seeing a goal go in but beein given a corner, or have seen a free kick go wide but was given as a goal, is this just all part of the lag and will it be fixed?

Yes it is, sometimes it will show on one persons screen as a corner, but the other as a goal, this is the game out of sync, this is the same as free kicks and other situations where on one screen it goes out for a corner but the other it goes in, but we have heard of cases that on both screens it did not go in but was still given as a goal, this is all down to the net code which is all part of the same lag issue which will be rectified with the patch.

Do you have a timescale on when the patch will be released for both versions?

We hope to have the patch released within two weeks at the latest, and have set a deadline of monday 19th November to get this to the public, as we are aware there are a lot of gamers out there that are avoiding a massive part of the game (online play) because of the online issues.

Are you aware of the problem people scoring free kicks online and not getting the achievement? Also several other achievements seem to be given to some people but not others.

Yes this is another issue that will be resolved with the patch, we cannot understand why some people have been given the achievement but others have not, we are currently working on a solution to this and will issue a statement explaining why this happens in the near future.

There are a lot of dissappointed PES fans out there that have even took the game back and bought a certain other football game, what would you say to them?

I would say to ALL PES fans to be patient with us while we rectify the problems, please be assured that we are working very hard to fix these problems. We hope that everyone will soon be enjoying the online aspect of the game which people will love playing with their friends and fellow gamers

don't really know what you mean about shoving past your players, it was fairly laggy on my end, which is why I struggled to stop your long balls cos I just couldn't position myself for headers very well.

you had the most posession for both games I think, so most of the time it was you beating me to the ball the few times I beat you I think it was just down to pace or something.

I dunno everytime I had the ball you could knock my players off balance, and then run past and get the ball but when I knock players off balance I seem to trip and bounce into the back of your player it happens when I play against the CPU and it's an annoying quirk with me and the Pro Evo series, which I STILL haven't sussed out after all these years. :/

Granted I expect Evra to butt rape Pennant but Rooney and Charrager wtf.

Reina is shit in the game at first I thought they fixed him but he's shit.

my carrick and tevez were grey and hargreaves was blue park and nani were also grey so i had to use giggs twice for the whole game which wasnt ideal. tevez is a monster in this game so he was missed :lol.

good matches though.

Liverpool need to get a bloody winger how the hell am I meant to beat people with Liverpool if I have Pennant on the right and Riise on the left, and i don't even bother with Kewell and you could see why because he got injured when I subbed him on that one match. :lol

From now on when a match is over i'm clicking on end game so other people's condition could go grey, when you click on play with same teams the exact same people have the dreaded grey bar. :/

This is good. And no offense to 360 owners (proud one here), but I could give a flying fuck about the achievements being glitched. They really need to fix the online, not only is multiplayer a "massive" part of the game, for some of us it is almost the only part. Good thing they realize this and here's hoping that next Monday things are running decently.

Depends on your connection, most of us refuse to play ranked, because if you have less than 3 green bars you teleport all over the place 2 3 green bars makes a tolerable match with minor teleporting.

To be honest even minor teleporting is unacceptable to me when it comes to Pro Ev. I guess i'll wait until it's sorted (if ever)

its not PSN, its Konami. Plenty of PS3 games have proper friend list inside the game so you can join the game easily that your buddy starts.

you won't get a game where lag won't have an effect on the outcome, so basically none of the games will be completely fair other than the fact both of you will suffer from it.

you just have to accept it, still fun if irritating if you lsoe cos of lag... and when you win you should keep in mind lag probably played a part as well

The game does that stupid auto defence thing when so much as goal up with 10-20 minutes left creating unnecesary pressure on myself who am I Chelsea? Maybe the previous Pro Evo's did that to, but I'm really feeling it in this year's game.

Yeah man, gg, it was fun and definitely the best two-bar connection I've had so far. 3/3 playing gaffers online in terms of playable games. Not sure about the auto-d, I've been messing around experimenting with different things just to get a feel for it but it does feel a bit different.

I was bracing myself when I saw you had 2 bars, but I think the ball went mad about twice in the whole match, Martins didn't glitch at all, he just blitzed past my defenders with pure pace...I hate pace. :/

I'll be trying this website copy and paste it onto Paint and move names around this weekend, I guess it's better when one person does all the hard work, it's just that I'm lazy.

hm.....I was struggling so badly in the master league in this game on professional difficulty, felt like every game would be a struggle and most of the time i was playing more against the cpu scripting than t he opposition.

But finally done my formation I'm destroying teams. I beat Munich 4-1 then 6-0 over 2 legs to win 10-1. Previous results were something like losing 2-1 then losing 3-0. All of a sudden its super easy...its like the cpu hasnt been scripted to handle non-standard formations or something.

cant wait to test them out on you lot lets just say they are ultra attacking though I will probably need to adjust for steroys 4-3-3 which was quite similar to my old system.

sorry for the hold up for the "tournament", astro comes on really late for me and i'm usually asleep when he comes online.

I've got to remember to load my formations BEFORE I start or join a room, so many times I'm in the lobby prepping my team then realizing my formation data does not load.

I spent ages getting my PES6 formations near perfect as well, shame those tactics don't translate well into this version.

It's on this weekend. Wife is out of town and just finished some big things at work, so PES couch potatoing all weekend for me. Re this next tournament, I wonder how many we'll have? 4? Put your money where your mouth is Euros! I know the online is generally laggy as hell if you just pick a random room, but so far with gaffers all the games have been playable. It's not exactly sitting in a room with your friends good, and it seems you have to vary your play a bit, but it's still PES.
