ok, heres my situation...
last month, i left my debit card in an atm right before going out of town. i canceled the card and had a new one sent out, but completely forgot about my live subscription being attached to that card #. i was able to play live a few days ago, but as of last night, whenever i try to sign in i get a message saying "your account has been suspended due to problems with your payment method. please fix."
i called the 800 number, explained what happened, and the guy sent me to billing.microsoft.com so i could update my card payment info with the new number. sure enough, upon signing in with my passport, i see xbox 360 live gold - disabled and my old card #. so i input the new one and it says live enabled...
but i still couldnt sign into live.
i called the 800 number back, explained the situation again, and the person said he didnt understand why it wasnt letting me on. they too are showing that may account is enabled. the guy suggested it may just take a while for the system to update with this, said i'd definitely be up and running the next day worst case scenario.
so, today, its still giving me the same message. i checked my online bank statement, and i was charged yesterday for the live service. once again i called, and once again, noone had any idea why it wasnt working. they passed it along to their supervisor and said that i'd recieve a call from them regarding this in the next 5 days. suckage!
the person suggested that i re-link my gamertag to the 360, but in doing so, i'd have to scrap everything currently attached to that profile, which would be HORRID.
anyone have any ideas?
