Ok, I'm on IE6 and recently I've been having some problems with it. Essentially, sometimes it would load a page only halfway. Like when I click on a thread, it only loads half the posts in that thread and it would indicate that its loading the other parts. But if I wait, IE would just continue to attempt to load the page and the page would not be loaded properly at all. Other times, IE would just load a blank page and says "Done" in the Status bar. Only way to solve this is to click stop and refresh. Its freaking annoying because I can't tell when the page is simply slow to load or when the error is occurring. I've tried clearing history and temp internet files but its still the same. Anyone help me out here?

And please don't tell me to download other browsers. I'm comfortable enough with IE as it is......

First try resetting all browser defaults in internet options. If you have a firewall or advanced privacy/security settings other than what's normally in IE, try turning those of as well for an hour and see how it performs.

But seriously. I'd download firefox if even for a backup browser. You should always have a back-up incase IE fucks up so bad you can't use it.

Agreed. I use Firefox as my main browser and IE for any site firefox won't display.

Wait until he shoots two mecha Koopas, and try to throw them up so that it bonks him on the head with them. After you do this twice, he runs away. Stand in between flames, and then the princess will give you a mushroom. Now Bowser shoots a couple of bowling balls that you must either jump over or spin jump around. Then he fires two more mecha Koopas, which you know what to do with. More flames, and another mushroom comes. Now he is really angry. He starts pounding into the ground, which will hurt you. He occasionally will fire mecha Koopas, which you must use to hit him quickly before he finishes you off. Two more hits and you've won the game!

I have a sort of similar problem with my second PC at work -- slowly it's been unable to connect to any page... and now it doesn't connect at all. I checked for spyware, viruses, adware, trojans, worms... but no success. I've checked the winsock dll, deleted cookies, cleared the history, deleted the cache, reinstalled IE (oddly enough, I don't have the option to repair IE in the uninstall section), used Opera, and I still cannot connect. Meanwhile, my second PC works just fine even though it's attached to the same connection. I've checked ipconfig and seems to pop up fine.

Any ideas on how to get around it? I had the same trouble with the PC before and the office had it repaired and reinstalled the OS, but now I'm having the same problem. Any ideas on what it could be? I've tried the symantec online scanner/ rav online virus scan, spybot, spysweeper, adaware but nothing seems to show anything at all. ::desperate::
