No 900 degree TFF wheel =! Ultimate Racing Console

Fact

I can agree about the 900 degree aspect, but I'm not sold on motorized FF.

Oh and Sony has WipeOut...forgot about that. Considering that, I'd agree that it's tied.

But perhaps the loss of the Rallisport series would tip things in the PS3's favour.

I take it back.

heh. you must remember that the only wrc game i've been able to play is the first, and afaik, richard burns ps2 is not coming to NA either :(

i'm sure those would have at least evened it out a bit between the two consoles

The hell? What other FF is there?

AFAIK there is no other form of FF, but many other ways to simulate the feel of the steering, some that use hydraulics for example. Most race sim setups don't use motorized FF anyways, some real drivers prefer not using them.

Dale Earnheart Jr. uses these wheels for example:

I think there has to be a better way simulating it...motorized feels too odd.

All the hydrolic simulators I have seen lately are sporting a DFP and these TSW wheels range from $300 to over $1,000 and they dont have any kind of feed back? :lol

Umm, the hydrolics you are speaking of are for the seats, not for the feel of the wheel.

Secondly, those wheels that go for $300 to $1000 are for racing professionals that use games to train, and they don't like FF because frankly it's a tad ridiculous. It's nothing like driving a real car.

now thats what i call next-gen. rr6 and nfs:mw is just laughable now.

Umm, no.

RR6, to me, honestly still looks better. But don't get me wrong, I'm going to play both of them to death, at least until Coast 2 Coast cums along.
