Vita wifi - finally paid off today

Uncharted - paid
Hot shots -paid
8gb - paid
MLB 12 -paid

Still debating dumping uncharted for Virtua tennis and marvel vs capcom + $20 or waiting for a post launch sale and holding off on all 3.

I think at launch I will be going with the wifi version, Uncharted, Lumines and a memory card. Not sure which size on the card yet. I may just grab a small one for the time being and upgrade later. Will probably download Super Stardust Delta (is it at launch?). And then get Gravity Rush and LittleBigPlanet when they come out.

I'm really surprised at how much I want Unit 13. I think Zipper is a quality developer, and I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed the little bit of MAG I played when I was in the beta ages ago, but I was never a big SOCOM fan (the MP).

Unit 13, however, really has me intrigued with it's single player and co-op mission game play. I was really hoping it would release at launch, but my lineup is packed already, what with the PSVita and PSP games I'm snagging (I'll pick up Corpse Party and Gladiator begins off of PSN for $30 total), and I've just decided, after playing the awesome PSN demo, that I'll be snatching up Rayman Origins day one as well (at least, that's the plan).

This is the first time I've ever bought a console/handheld on launch day, so it's kind of a milestone for me, and my hype levels are reaching critical mass! It really sucks that I'm getting my already pre-ordered games and memory card a full week before I get my system on the 15th. That's going to be a cruel 7 days while I wait for my Vita to arrive...

I agree it looks good. By the way, it only JUST misses launch - comes out the week after i believe

Can' t wait for this beast!

ps vita wifi paid off
uncharted paid off

hori screen protector already coming in the mail

now just need to decide on what size mem card to get and another game.

I'm thinking about grabbing ninja gaiden but so far haven't seen any videos for it.
Anyone seen any?

Just quoting myself. Still interested in vita but this is a question I need answered or else no buy

You can use Skyhook to register your phone as a WiFi access point I believe, although I don't know how reliable or accurate that would be (I assume the point of the service is to map static access points?).

For the trophies they're linked to your PSN account, but as of right now apparently they don't show up with your PS3 trophy list.

I'm not entirely sure about how near works with tethering, but I do know that Vita can either be seen with the PS3's trophies or filtered into its own group. Both should contribute to your overall trophy count, though.

Edit: beaten

My phone actually has WiFi tethering so I guess if someone walks through my signal my near should set off. And woot about trophy integration. I haven't been able to play my ps3 lately and i need to add to my trophy count while I'm on the road. I'll probably grab a wifi model in a month or so. Good thing i have all those extra psn dollars

Man dont do that to him. It simply wont be the same. I have tetris on my tablet, and that will never replace GB/GBC Tetris.

Besides, it has new features and special blocks!

I'm actually fairly certain the exact same game Vita is getting will see an iOS port. It doesn't have the "Only on PlayStation" tag, nor does it seem to have an Vita exclusive features that couldn't be replicated elsewhere, which fits with Ubisoft's handheld strategy of porting shit to mobile after handheld money.

It'll (lumines) be ported to iOS within the year bro.

I need it

It already has touch controls built into it. Gamecenter leader boards would be a breeze.

After the bomba that was Child of Eden, Q is in dire straits. You can count on Lumines appearing on iOS.

Oh, excellent! Looks like I'll be adding that to my list the following week. Now, if only Gravity Daze/Rush would release a week after launch...

Me too, super hyped for Unit 13. Love the social aspects. Sounds like the best parts of The Club and Autolog combined.

Plus, looks gorgeous.

Comes out on 6th of March which is actually two weeks after, my mistake. Still not far after launch though

I got this email from Amazon today:

Hello,

We have received new release date information related to your pre-ordered video game in the order you placed on December 23, 2011 (Order# 1XXXXXXXXXXXX). The release date for the video game listed below has been changed by the publisher, and we want to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:

"Army Corps of Hell"
Release date: March 31, 2012
Estimated arrival date: April 04, 2012

Did anyone else get this email? I hope this is not the case!

Both.

A case is a must, and I can't see myself using a touch-screen without a screen protector.

With all my devices (tablets, smartphones) with touch screen I found out that screen protectors only do the following:
- turn the image worst;
- reduce the sensibility of the touch screen (like it adds a friction to your thumb);
- keep getting dirty.

And yes, I was using ZAG proctetors. Still have some sealed for my phone. Unless the screen is very small (like iPhone 3.5" small screen) the protector adds those problems, and I decided to remove them from my devices. Of course, Gorilla Glass are really strong, I do not know the quality of the VITA screen (is it plastic???)

I am excite!

my case shipped!
