So I'm trying to order the 16 GB card with a couple of games off of Amazon but I don't see release day shipping. Are they not doing it?
Edit:nvm, I figured it out.

Seems like a good value. Not the cool earbuds from Japan though.

You're right no memory card. Hmm, that actually might be better for me even with the sales tax since I'm getting the 32 gig stick already. I mainly just want that case, but I'm trying to find out if it zips shut. There aren't any side shots of it.
I think the logo for this was listed in some insert for the Vita wasn't it?
Nice little video for those interested in Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I normally wouldn't play a game like this on console. I enjoyed the PS3 version of Blazblue, but felt the PSP version was better despite the slight downgrade. But damn! UMvC really shows off Vitas sexiness... The wait continues.
I noticed that too... I hope they're the same because I bought a couple extra PSPgo cables when I found some on blowout pricing at $2.99 or something, so if that's the case, I'm set...That looks like the PSPGo USB cable. Same?
And on what evidence, exactly, do you base your belief? Do you own both a PSPgo and a Vita? Have you tried it? Do you know someone who has? Or has Sony said they're different (link)? No, I believe it's a different one.
You guys seen this?

I had a question about PSN games and Vita. I was wondering if theyre playable on Vita. I mean, can I play Dead Nation on Vita?
I just received an E-mail message about an upcoming live chat focused around Wipeout 2048. The chat will involve Michael Pulst (the game's producer) and other members of the development team.
The message makes reference to this post from the US PlayStation community forums, which in turn points to this link as the page where the chat will take place.
Before anyone asks, as far as I can tell, online play (including cross-platform play with PS3) is still being promoted as a feature for this game.
I paid off my full preorder today:
- PS Vita First Ed. w/ Little Deviants, case, 4GB memory card
- Uncharted (free with First Ed. courtesy Best Buy Canada)
[*]Gravity Daze (may not be available day one)- Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom
- Army Corps of Hell
- Wipeout 2048
- Virtua Tennis 4
- 32GB Memory Card
- Sony Screen Protector 2 pack
- $100+ PSN store credit earmarked for Escape Plan, Motorstorm, Plants vs. Zombies and anything else that catches my eye...
Whew! So hyped! BEST LAUNCH EVER!!
Now, the final month of waiting...
Ya well... I imagine I'll have enough to keep me busy for a while without it...it wont be at day1
I'm just about ready to bite the bullet and pre-order a Vita with all of the required accessories. However, I really don't want to repeat the same mistake I did with the 3DS and purchase five games that I never end up playing.
Uncharted seems like it'll be a fun game, but if it's anything like the PS3 games I will beat it in eight hours or so and never play it again. I might just wait until it's available cheaper.
I'm thinking about picking up UMvC3 or Little Big Planet since they both seem like they'll last me a while, but I'm just not sure yet.
If you are/were only picking up one game, which would it be and why?

lumines. it's Lumines.
It'll be ported to iOS when iPad 3 gets announced.
fixed
So does this thing have gorilla glass or do we need to get screen protectors? Ive never used a protector on my phone and there is not one scratch on it.
Wipeout 2048. Shows off the graphics, good music, has full online play (also with PS3 players), big 'career' mode and possible DLC.I'm just about ready to bite the bullet and pre-order a Vita with all of the required accessories. Guys, I want one, I really do, but I am an Xbox gamer. I had a PS3 for about 2 months and got rid of it, that is how much I HATE the dualshock, the postioning of the sticks and the lack of stick resistance made it such an awful pad to use to do anything that required any finesse at all (aiming being the biggest problem.)
With this being said, Microsoft are extremely unlikely to cater to portable gaming like the Vita seems to promise, I really really want one, but I am put off from spending £350 on something I may find too awful to use to actually play games.
Those of you that have actually held one/used one, what does it actually FEEL like to hold and how does the positioning of the sticks feel to your thumbs, do you have to bend your thumbs a lot to get them on the top of the sticks?
This is a serious post, I dont want to start any flaming at all.
Thanks GAF.

Considering Little Big Planet isn't coming out until later in the year, I think your decision is simpler.I'm just about ready to bite the bullet and pre-order a Vita with all of the required accessories. Sorry, forgot to mention, I am in the UK, not sure we are getting much in the way of PR or marketing attention. If it's that much of a problem, why don't you check out an in store demo or one of Sony's traveling Vita pit stops?
Where in the UK do you live? Could you make it to any of the Vita rooms destinations? They're going to Manchester Glasgow and London. Could be beneficial to play one yourself rather than depending on others
Anyway with my (admittedly short) playtime with the Vita at Eurogamer last year, i felt that the sticks were really good. Okay they're obviously small and are quite loose compared to what one is used to, and obviously would take some getting used to, but that's to be expected really. The positioning is fine to me, but i am the polar opposite to you in that i can't use a 360 controller - hate the analogue positioning.
Cant really justify a trip to london to my wife atm, but thanks, I didnt know about those showings.
I wish I could have adjusted to the Dualshock, it would have made this decision easier, but if the sticks are as loose as you say, I really do have my doubts.
I guess I will wait around for more impressions, and try to see if I cant try one out for myself somehow.
Yeah good idea, I might go in and quiz the employees of my local(ish) GAME, see if I cant persuade them to let me get my grubby mitts on one, maybe waving the cash under their noses might help.Keep an eye out around your local Game/Gamestation/HMV etc, they might get demo units in if you're lucky
All I need is for amazon to put Virtual Tennis up and I will be able to put my order in. Ugh!!!
There seems to be a lot of games missing from amazon but they been slowly adding them.
It'll be ported to iOS within the year bro.
