PS2 Games they Should Port to PSP NOW

There's an older PSOne game I think would be perfect for the PSP ... Intelligent Qube, a game Sony published way back in 1997. I think the PS2 got a remix of it, but I dunno if it was released outside of Japan.

A great little puzzle game.

No ports. Right now the PSP has one original game that isn't a piece of shit. Let's work on that number before we start thinking about ports.

I absolutely wouldn't mind ports at all. As long as original games also came, I see no problem at all with ports. I also wouldn't mind replaying a few games. I'd love to see...

Ico
Devil May Cry
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
SSX Tricky
God of War
Resident Evil 4 (from the upcoming PS2 version)
All the Final Fantasy games.
Grand Theft Auto games.
Burnout 3
Winning Eleven 8
Prince of Persia games.
Splinter Cell games.
Madden Football
NCAA Football
MVP Baseball
NHL 2Kx hockey

I want a Jak game on the PSP, I want it to play like the first Jak game with the focus on exploration.

Perhaps you could play as the young Jak? Of course there would be no Daxter (well, he would be human.. and ugly!). :(

I don't understand the appeal of the PSP if it turns into a PS2 port machine. Why not just buy the (likely) superior PS2 version?

I love GT4 as much as the next guy, but is it really practical to race an endurance race on the PSP?

Because a 55" widescreen TV won't fit in hand luggage?

I would pay unheard amounts of money for a good old direct, no content added Rez port. Or even more unheard for "Rez+" with new levels.

Any SHMUP would make a perfect direct port. WHo cares if you played and finished those, they can be played forever if they are good. Gradius 5, Ikaruga, Dodonpachi, Guwange, Espgaluda, etc. etc. System begs for those in tate mode. Metal Slug 1, 2, 3 - same thing.

I am the first to admit that games like MGS3 or God of War just wouldn't be the same experience grandeur on the PSP as they are on the PS2, but who cares, port those too :) What MGS fan wouldn't like MGS3-anywhere? :P

That is why the when Polyphony finally unveils GT4 PSP it will be revealed to be a 2D racer with awesome high-resolution sprites with 1600 frames of animation per car! :lol

At the risk of the PSP also becoming a port machine like the DS and GBA..

The Jak trilogy
The Ratchet Trilogy
The Crash Bandicoot Trilogy (The original PSX versions. They were the best of the series, and damn would I love to have them again.)
The Spyro games (from the PSX era)
Rez
Final Fantasy VII (Just to practically guarantee the PSP as being the king of handhelds. It worked for the original PSX.)
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (None of that Underground crap.)
DOOM and DOOM II (Now that I'll have DOOM and DOOM II on my Xbox, would be nice to also have perfect ports on a handheld.)
The original 2D Rayman
Ico
Fantavision
One of each and every puzzle game that ever graced the original PS's
Crazy Taxi

I'd prefer sequels to most of them though, but would pay $20-30 for a good port of some of these. (The PSP needs budget titles.)

I don't want to see lots of PS2 ports to the PSP.

Ports I wouldn't mind include retro collections, import-only PSOne games like Gradius Gaiden and Growlanser I, and remakes of PSOne games with updated graphics and gameplay. I'm looking forward to MediEvil and Namco Museum on the PSP.

Don't really care about ports but a Dynasty Tactics sequel on the PSP would be nice. I'd love to see a new game in the Frequency/Amplitude series. If they could adjust it to the PSP controls somehow I'd probably wear the batteries out from constantly playing it.

Jumping Flash! 1 & 2 (maybe throw in JP3 for completion's sake). Stages can be cleared under 5 minutes, ideal for portable gaming. Add a random level generator and Robbit is good to go.

How the hell would God of War work on the PSP

you need the two joy sticks for L3 +R3 to activate Rage of the Gods

Actually, DS currently has less "ports" than PSP. Yes, I went there.
