I seriously hope that they just go with UPS for the East Coast, I'm sure they will. Amazon is fully aware that Lasership is a horrible courier but yet, they continue to use them, because they're cheap. But since this is a big ticket item that has an insane amount of pre-orders I anticipate that they decided to go with the courier that's more reliable.
Or I'm wrong and Lasership will steal all of our shit.

If I remember correctly the kid was sneaking around and found the 360 before Christmas so his parents wanted to teach him a lesson. Eventually he got it. I might be wrong though.

I think I am reaching the point of going on a media blackout. The system is only about five days away now, and while I really want to see the UI in action, I think seeing it for the first time when I boot it up myself would be a lot more fun. I'm also not even concerned with seeing any game reviews, as I already have everything pre-ordered on PSN, so no going back anyway and I already know ACIV and BF4 are awesome from playing a small portion of the current gen versions.
If we were still a few weeks to a month out from launch, I would absolutely dive into a UI video, but at this point, why bother when you could save the experience for launch night?

Yeah, my parents have done stuff like that, and doing that is cool actually, because it ends in everyone enjoying and getting what they want. The parents get to 'trick' the child and end up getting what they want and giving them great joy. The child gets what he/she wants as a big surprise.
What the family did in the video is a cruel joke where they have fun and laugh at someone else's misfortune.
