cool... will watch
Yep.
I wonder why it doesn't look as blurry as Battlefield 4 though.
My guess is that TMAA is doing most of the work and TXAA is just working on distant objects.
Impressive. I truly think this could finally be the 'Halo' level FPS Sony have wanted it to be all these years. In an age of 3 hour SP campaigns in FPSs having a 10+ hour story driven campaign harks back to some of my favorite games of all time.

The city is on a big wall, that line is beneath the wall.
nope. That is not how it works.
The thing I don't understand is why some of you have been worried about this? Seriously ask yourselves if it makes sense that A.I. would be worse than Killzone 2 and 3, which have some of the bet best FPS A.I.? I'd be more inclined to think that people were playing on easy...
Will the shield be stationary or mobile? I'm not too sure that if the player moves back the shield will move accordingly or if the player advances the shield will move further ahead to keep defending. I think it'd be cool if the shield followed the players line of sight, but others may feel that that's cheap.
It still looks strange to me.
After their "every Killzone mercenary level is about 45 minutes long" BS I'm not going to believe them about a 10 hour campaign in this. I hope it's true but it's probably not.

Killzone SF is much more open affair than any game in the original trilogy. It's combat areas are not the narrow corridoors and small arenas of K2/3. It's enough to make me consider if the AI made a smooth transition.
Also, wouldn't it be in GG's best interest to showcase great AI? It's a disservice if they're showing everything in easy mode.
Most likely the former. At least, I hope the shield is stationary. Mobile would be pretty cheap, as you said.
Explain since that was just a guess I made.

All those buildings are on a cut off raised platform.
What's up with this?

There's going to be a lot more filler then previous KZ games though; larger areas to move around, heavier focus on stealth, more character moments etc.
Look closely above the top arrow .
That part of the city is on an elevated plateau .
The glass floor of the main building is making it hard to see.
Well said.
They need to show this game off at it's best. The A.I makes me really sour, and I only try to keep my mouth shut because I'm aware of how the AI used to be in Killzone 2.
The transition to a more open world concerns me. Corridor shooting in KZ2 was great because the A.I was able to make better use of the surroundings. In Shadow Fall, I've just seen enemies standing around. They need to show off more
Brilliant looking game. Looks like it's gonna be good, though those adrenaline packs seem a bit OP on top of regenerating health and the other tools you have at your disposal.
