My cloud upload saves always fail every time I turn on my PS4. I'm assuming this is because I don't leave it on standby. This is normal, right?

... sadly it feels like we've been invited to a party that's dying down. All that's left is soggy looking buffet food and the booze no one else would touch. Everyone is pretty partied out, and all the hot topics of conversation have been tapped dry.
We're the guy who's all hyper while the rest of the party is ready to chill out.
As someone who ditched Sony back in the PS2 era for the Xbox - it's kind of weird jumping back on the bandwagon with the PS4, it kind of has to be done given Microsoft's shitty stance and positioning with the xbone but I'm feeling a bit like a fish out of water.
I've got a system arriving Friday but don't know what launch title to get, never played a killzone, and while I normally tend to get games with strong multiplayer modes, come Friday when I create a UK PSN account I'll have zero people on my friends list to play with.
The one thing I always liked with the xbox launches was they always had a safe option, everybody got Halo, everybody got PGR3 and I'm guessing everybody this time is getting Forza.

Forgot to mention that I visited the local Media Markt* on saturday and asked a clerk about Ps4's availability. He said that the first shipment has been sold out entirely but that Sony is going to ship more units in december across the country. (The Netherlads)
I'm glad because I haven't pre ordered. He advised me to check the store after launchday for more details.
I am so going to do that. I want a Ps4 this year.

Am I the only one who doesn't see the hype surrounding the new Infamous? I played the first one; its a nice concept but nothing I've seen of the franchise (incl new one) screams 'must-buy'. If we're talking exclusives, Quantum Break looks and sounds far more appealing.
Judging from the 3 seconds of gameplay we've seen (heh) it looks like Infamous. I don't get the hype surrounding that game considering how little we've seen of it.

4 days until my system is safely sitting on the entertainment centre.
I have no idea what I'll try out first out of Resogun, Knack and Killzone SF. If my friend is over it'll be co-op Knack which I'm hoping is old school fun. Can't wait to witness KZ in all it's 1080p glory.

What looks so amazing about Quantum Break compared to SS from 3 secs of gameplay footage? Also...do we even have an idea of how far along that game is? Alan Wake took forever...
