Hmmm, here's hoping we get some official media comparisons from Sony or others that shows the difference between PS4 1080p and PS4Pro 1080p
These should be "reviewed" by next weekend, eh? As long as someone gets a hold of one and gives us a quick look at hard drive advantages, that'll still be plenty of time to get a new hard drive ordered from Amazon.
Wtf. I thought it was only 4k/30fpsSpoil yourself with The Last of Us 60fps mode on PS4 Pro.
The results will still be the same.
- SSD for those who want the fastest speed and have money
- SSHD for those who want speed and storage at a budget price
- HDD for people who don't care about speed
Horizon ZD early next year is the most likely bet.Wccftech post some of the most unreliable info, especially in the PC sector. Maybe they are right for once?
Anyway, how long do we think before the pro is bundle with a game? Feel like I wanna wait for that to happen.

The triple steps... the PS Triple :0000
SSD on the original ps4 barely did anything for games. Why are people so sure that the pro will be different?

I hate when companies keeping this color stuff like it's a super secret thing in console market.
Oh, Sony. Why did you build something this ugly?

Sata 3 support.
The event is happening. Haven't heard anything about Days Gone. But Yeah its a 2-day event with da Pro. Titles that were mentioned in the invite I saw was: TLG, Ratchet and clank, gran turismo and niohWccftech post some of the most unreliable info, especially in the PC sector. I wonder if there would be any unofficial, retailer specific bundles.
Will it be like PS4's SSD advantage though, where you get a couple seconds loading time and marginally quicker texture loads? Or proper speed like cutting load times in half or more and loading things off the hard drive in the home screen noticeably faster like checking storage status and things that rely on HD speed and not network speed? That's what I'd like to find out.
If it's the same as now, you'd be pretty bad with money to still choose a smaller SSD when those new 2TB SSHDs are out.
Sata 3 support.
The bigger deal would be for the HDD to not utilize the USB interface for data anymore. That is the true bottleneck. PS4 didn't even get full SATA 2 speeds.
Any possibility there will be a limited initial shipment that could be sold out in the first few days? I'll likely hold off until Black Friday to see if there's any bundles...
You know.. this is getting really old now.

I have a feeling that they will be kept in stock. I don't think it's gone out of stock on places like Amazon ever since pre-orders have opened.

Still gotta hold out as some stores may do their own thing.I wouldn't expect any deals whatsoever on this thing for the rest of the year. even on black friday
But in some games you can shave off like 30 seconds of loading with an SSD over a stock drive. Sometimes it's a couple of seconds, sometimes it's much, much more.
No kidding. Not only is the appearance of a console pretty unimportant, the constant raving about the Xbox One S and denigrating the PS4 Pro's appearance smacks more of a marketing campaign than legitimate customer feedback. I happen to think the dark grey One S is a decent looking console but it's mostly noteworthy for being a huge improvement from the original. It's no work of art. By contrast, I think the Pro may not be as attractive as the original PS4 but then I haven't seen it in person yet, and there's nothing really wrong with it.
Back to what matters: I've never chosen a console based on appearance and I never will. I care much more about how it will fit into my entertainment center from a form factor perspective.
During launch when supplies will be scarce no manufacturers and retailers would rather not guess which colors will be more popular and try to manufacture and stock them on that basis. Once supply and demand equalize a little the new colors come out as an extra incentive. It's really that simple.
Do you know which games have greater benefits? Is it generally a certain type of game?

Same. Watching streams have been killing me.Been without a PS4 for around a month sold it in preparation, can't come soon enough!
The only actually ugly Sony console imo is the PS3 Super Slim. Everything else looks good to great.
PS4 is hawt though.
Neo looks better flat imo.
Buy a pro but definitely don't sell the anniversary PS4! That thing is specialI can't decide if I should sell my 20th Anniversary PS4 for a Pro. On one hand I really like the look of the Anniversary edition and on the other I would really like to get the most out of the games I play on PS4 so I just don't know.
Because Sony went through the extra effort/cost to implement SATA3 when they could have stayed with SATA2.SSD on the original ps4 barely did anything for games. Why are people so sure that the pro will be different?
Unless you've got a ton of money to burn just stick with a regular old EVO instead of the Pro SSD.I could be wrong, but apart from almost instantaneous texture load when compared to the stock hdd in the ps4 doesn't it also reduce pop-in and in some cases improve framerate? I'll get one of those samsung pro ssd's next year to see how much it improves games.
