PS4 Pro boxes getting prepped

Was at my local GameStop grabbing my COD: Infinite Warfare on Saturday, asked the manager if they were doing an early release and it seems my store has been authorized to release them tonight (Wednesday night) for reserve customers. Sounds like there will be a small amount of units left for walk-ins as well. I do need to follow up with him, though, he said that he had corporate approval but the decision was still hinging on district manager approval, which would be figured out Monday afternoon. I'm going to call them after I wake up later on today to confirm. I'm wondering if Dishonored 2 pre-orders will also be purchaseable at this event (as Dishonored 2 pre-order grants 1-day early access last I heard).
 
i forgot to cancel my tesco direct order but i switched my pre order to game so now i have two consoles coming tmrw, smh

just gunna return the tesco one i think
 
There are some units spread around Brazil for those who are desperate.

Sadly, I arrived late and they were gone yesterday.

Hoping to grab one today with some contacts.
 
I ordered a fucking Fitbit for my mothers birthday last night and it instantly shipped.......the pro......still waiting to ship

Please update us if you get more info. If your store ends up having the go ahead, I'll give my local Gamestop a call to see if it is the same.

Sure. I might not be able to report back for another 8-10 hours though, I'm just going to be going to bed here in a bit and will be waking up mid-afternoon local time (I'm on my days off but I'm a night worker so I stay up late). The manager did say that corporate-wide, it's not been a very common thing, he just happened to pull a fairly substantial amount of pre-orders at his location over the rest of the district, so he's been greenlighted -- he did note that he's the only store in the district that is approved, though.

Results vary a ton based on what the gaming interest in your region is, and how many GameStops actually exist to cater to that audience, and how much of that audience isn't strongly anti-GameStop. I'm an ex Assistant Store Manager myself, and I worked in a district with a LOT of locations that kind of spread things out a bit, so pulling enough pre-orders to do a late open event was a bit of a crapshoot. Seems it's that way where I live now, too. Regions with only 1-3 stores, and a lot of GameStop frequent shoppers can pull those late night opens way more frequently.
 
My Amazon UK preorder (from September) still says "Dispatching soon".
Not worried at the moment since it happened more than once that some orders were sent late in the evening and I got them the following day as expected.
 
Got my tracking email from DPD/Tesco, currently says my order is in Raunds at 10:34am (Had to Google it, a town in Northamptonshire) assume there is a DPD centre there.

Edit. Checked and its about 2 hours from my house, please can DPD be nice and drive straight to mine today.
 
Mine is "Preparing for Dispatch" thanks to Amazon.co.uk so looks like I will be set tomorrow.

They however managed to slip with delivering my PSVR by two days past launch (which made me cancel it and buy one directly at a physical store).

Well, we still have the most expensive PS4.

Sony Brasil launched the console for R$ 4000 (1299 U$D), now it costs R$ 1999 (not the slim, the older since the slim won't reach here until next fiscal year)

Didn't find the Pro that expensive since it's before launch. Although it's not an official product release.

It could settle for 1800-1900 after one month, but my heart tells me DO IT.
 
Getting mine from webhallen (webshop for Nordic countries) and they should have plenty in stock for everybody. Will get mine from the shop in Copenhagen tomorrow.

Don't worry if Amazon UK haven't shipped yet. It was exactly the same with PSVR. Hell I didn't even get my dispatch email for the PSVR until 20 minutes before it arrived on the day it was out. They don't stop shipping until late at night.
 
Where is everyone located that is saying Target and Bestbuy will allow pick up today? If i check online for Bestbuy it says available tomorrow. Target doesn't even show store pick up available yet. NJ btw.

mine finally changed to "Preparing to Ship" with a delivery date of tomorrow. i'm like 25 minutes away from a huge amazon fulfillment center, so i'm not surprised. mine should def be delivered tomorrow. perhaps you are closer to a fulfillment center than you realize too.

Same here. I was definitely getting nervous. I think my orders usually ship out of Indiana, but I think they opened a fulfilment center down by Columbus. I would prefer USPS then I will get it around 11am with my mail, if they go UPS I doubt I will see it until after 4pm.
