PS4/Xbox One Features that still need clarification?

I do agree that it would be more user friendly if the IGC just automatically added to your download list every month, I guess the only problem with that is the user may end up having a list a mile long with a bunch of games the user has no interest in.

Maybe the option to add IGC games to ones download list automatically would be a good call.

I just want them automatically added to my account. They don't have to automatically download. I just hate having to find them by hand and worry about missing manually adding a game before the month runs out.

I just hope the PS4 has: private voice chat, cross game chat, and better voice chat than ps3.

basically it hindered all third party multiplayer games on the ps3 for me

I don't need to hear racist children or wanna be rappers "perfecting their art" as I'm murdering them in battlefield.

this is all i want too. I know we'll probably get a bigger suite of features but i would like to have the intuitive feel of the XBL chat features. everything else would be a bonus because we already get the ICG/discounts thing with PS+ now.

When will the online store open up i want to god dam preorder some digital titles and order their download queue so i dont have to do it at launch and just log in.
And is there an multiplat headset out there yet for PC,X1 and PS4 i rather buy one expensive that can be used on all platform instead of getting 2 headsets.

These should all be the most basic of features added to PSN if they want to compete with Live next gen.

What VOD platforms are going to be ready for launch, for both platforms.

I think people are going to be surprised at how bad the situation will be, on both consoles.

PS4
- Supported multimedia formats
- What model of PSN accounts is used, like on PS3, like on Vita or something else?
- Supported partition formats for external HDDs
- Is buying PS4 games through SEN website going to be available day one or even slightly before the release
- Likewise, is PS Store going to be available day one
Oh yeah and I guess the fate of Gaikai in Europe plus whether you can use Gaikai or not depends on where you actually are or your choice of PSN region.

Mainly I just want to see PS4 OS in action a lot more.
Dont think we've seen anything about the PS Store yet either, want to know if thats like a "Seperate app" like it is on PS3, or if its more like how 360 handles it, where its seamlessly integrated into the OS.

Didnt hear about tying accounts to PS4 controllers either, so would like to know more about that.

Would like to know about pausing games too, you just press the Options button for that now?

Oh and Gaikai in UK too and how you actually get access to games and will it be ALL games or not and if theres any additional cost to using it or not if you have PS+

Basically everything that has to do with the dashboard/OS for both.

I would specifically like to know if the Xbox can use a networked tuner for all of its TV stuff.

Remote play has been stated that it's a hardware feature and not something the developers need to add. I want to see it work on a third party game just to set my mind at ease.
well they showed assassins creed 4 playing on remote play and it worked perfectly, you should be able to find the videos on YouTube.

Will there be improved voice chat quality for PS4? There is an Xbone voice chat quality comparison out but so far no word from Sony. Really hope its not PS3 quality.

I want to know if the PS4 store will allow gifting games to friends (buying games for friends, as you do in steam, not "handing down" of games).

Also, I want to know if it allows users to have wish lists.

Not really features that need clarification (since they haven't been announced), but I think the store needs more clarification overall.

The PS Store has to be available from day one or else nobody can get their PS+ stuff

Will media applications like Plex and Aereo be able to run on the Xbox One/PS4? Assuming yes, will Windows 8 applications like Plex be able to run unmodified or barely modified on the Xbox One (so that we can get them very shortly after launch).

Still no word from any nerds with the PS4 camera if it will work on Windows with either an adapter or straight up cable cutting and resoldering.

Who knows if it's actually USB or not?

So both the PS4 and Xbox One will be available in a little over a month, what features still need clarified?

PS4

- If Instant Demos will be available day one.
- If uploading footage to YouTube is a day one feature.
- If we can save our footage to the hard drive instead of uploading it to a social media website.
- How the game library will work. We still haven't seen it.
- How tying PSN accounts to your controller works.
- Almost everything about the PS Camera.
- How/if media servers will work.

I would add the whole install and cache features for PS4 games to the list.
