Philip Kollar responded to me, he said there aren't any Martin Luther King Jr. posters yet so he can't believe us.

Get to work GAF!

You guys think is a good idea to tweet this to GoG and CDprojekt? i know they are against DRM , might help :3

I will try and open a twitter thingy :)

Stop the train guise :c

It's fake of course, lol

We can try Colin Moriarty too. They both seem to be passionate PlayStation fans. If we could a few retweets or mentioned on Podcast Beyond, that'd be pretty significant.

I'm not sure if either would do any good. Colin in particular is completely in favor of this happening. He already defended it on Podcast Beyond multiple times.

Did my part. I think if this ends badly I'm going to cry. Like I just found out Santa isn't real type of cry. Like my favorite sports team loses the big game type of cry. Like DNA test results show I am NOT the father type of cry even.

The thing that will be absolutely clear by the end of this is that the ball will be in Sony's court. All we can do is tell them how we feel. They need to do what they think is right based off of that.

Come E3 Microsoft and now Sony will have heard loudly from its customers. If they still ignore us... it's at their own peril.

I have to get some sleep now. If this thread and tweets aren't as/more active then they are right now when I wake up, I'm going to be very disappointed. So keep it up everyone!

Sony knows that the keys to next gen are dangling right in front of them. But, they also need to please developers and publishers. I have a feeling the next few weeks before E3 are going to be the most important next few weeks that Sony has ever had regarding Playstation.

I still reject the notion that publishers have as much say in this that people think (outlined here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=59475065&postcount=51).

But even if i'm (and the people who basically told me that) are wrong... if you're a publisher you also can't cut off your nose to spite your face. If you're EA are you really 100% confident that the Xbone is going to be a huge hit? Because if you turn your back on Sony and Sony becomes the market leader you're screwed.

So it's not just sony that would be under pressure. If they do go PS3-style with used games publishers would be taking a huge risk by turning their back on them. I mean imagine this gen if someone said "well the ps2 was huge Im gonna tell microsoft to fuck off." How excited do you think they would have been for the first 3 years while the ps3 languished and the 360 took off....?

So this is why EA abandoned Nintendo cause they wouldn't bend to this drm nonsense?

it don't mean Sony will do it, Sony didn't drop their online pass yet.

just remember, EA entered a partnership with Microsoft not Sony and they even refused to announce multiplat on PS4 before Xbox One reveal as they clearly want to give the advantage to Microsoft, so I don't think Sony will follow EA wishes here.

EuropeanGAF should be waking up soon so hopefully we can get a few more on board.

Yeah, I think that Europe is very adamant against the inhibition of customer value propositions.

Hmmm, we'll just have to see. That said, I think that there is a huge difference in an online pass and a DRM that forces install and account/console locks a game :/ Pretty much online pass VS game pass from hell (2nd hand diminishing).

There was similar situation where Sony bet on Blu-ray and industry rallied behind them. Pretty sure the negotiations etc. may be going full force from all directions.

I wonder what Gamefly and Gamestop and uh... whoever else is a middleman vendor for 2nd hand gaming thinks of this. Amazon? Ebay? Best Buy?

Anybody tried to get Angry Joe in on this yet? He has 52,000 followers and was pretty pissed off about the Xbox One.

Good to know. I think Sony made it very clear back in February that they are committed to gamers. With the Xbox One announcement confusing people, I think it also confused publishers and with all the back lash against the anti consumer stance that Microsoft seems to have taken (I might be jumping the gun, E3 should fill in the gaps), everyone is waiting for Sony to make the next move. Damn, I can't remember the last time I was so excited for an E3.
