I was just wondering, has anyone tried reaching out to Ralph Nader on twitter? He is one of America's most well known consumer advocates after all.
A tweet for Nader is a tweet for the Xbone!

So you're saying you would like to be signed up for talking to the media about it? I'll put you down. Thanks.
9 AM eastern = 13:00 GMT? I've never really used GMT because i'm a dumb american.
And is GMT usually 24h or should i say 1pm GMT?
Ok if it helps its 7:30pm in the UK right now and im pretty sure the UK is GMT+1
Has anyone come up with a plan for reddit? I feel like last time the thread was posted in /r/gaming and it got deleted. Thoughts?
The only thing I can think of would be to continually create the thread and tick off the /r/gaming mods, aside from that we can't really do anything.
Ok so here's the deal for me.... I'm working a bunch this weekend to try to get atleast the middle of next week free. I can access the internet from work, mostly on my phone. But only when things are calm (I work with autistic adults... so when they go to sleep it's totally fine for me to go online and just keep an ear out for them, assuming im done with all my paperwork, etc). Anyway, that's tmi... the main point is i'm kinda busy this weekend but not entirely.
So I guess I will open the floodgates now and will probably take all weekend to sift through it and decide who is doing what. So I wouldn't expect a response until Sunday at the earliest. Maybe monday during the day.
What we need is people willing to contact websites and let them know they we are planning on a second push on Wednesday at a time we will figure out today or tomorrow. You will need to go to the website to find the contact email/page.... but from there it's easy. Basically you will send an email like (let's pretend it's kotaku).
Hi Kotaku!
This is (your name) from the #PS4NoDRM campaign and we are ramping up for a second and final push on Wednesday, June 5th starting at __ GMT (and then maybe list the time for them if you know the country of the site's origin).
The movement so far has over 175+ media mentions in 20 different languages which has been incredibly helpful to us. We are grateful for the articles you did specifically and were hoping you could help us shine a light on this one final time.
If you have any further questions check out (OP Link) and (site link) or email me at (your email). And if you decide not to cover it again we still are really appreciative of the support you've given us so far.
Thanks,
Yourname
And then if they have questions for you that you know the answer to, answer them. If you don't refer them to me or baller (and maybe others, still hashing that out). I will give you our email addresses when letting you know which sites you will be responsible for.
If a ton of people decide to volunteer it will be really quick for everyone. Each site will take like 5 minutes tops... so if we can get it down to like 5 or less sites per person we're asking for less than a half hour of your time. We will start with the sites that have already covered it and if we have the manpower we will then move onto sites that haven't.
If you're lurking and would like to help, message me on twitter. If you're on the forum, PM me.
As each new page is created in this thread if i'm not around.... if someone could quote this just to get it on the current page I would be most appreciative.

Someone made a thread with a link to a tweet which made the front page. So basically I think it needs to be linked to the website or twitter or something... anything other than NEOGAF. The mods probably have a rule against linking to here.
So next wednesday at that time is our big push before E3?![]()
Hey Guys,
Another first timer here.
I was just wondering, has anyone tried reaching out to Ralph Nader on twitter? He is one of America's most well known consumer advocates after all.

Twitter hash tags are the new worthless Internet petition.

I mentioned this a few pages back but just in case people missed it I came up with the idea of using our banner/gaf ava's on twitter that day to show solidarity visually. Some people liked the idea so I thought I would bring it up again in case people missed it. Maybe even adding the word "_Neogaf" or something to the end of our twitter names. Thoughts?
I'll be using the banner, no problem. But the "_NeoGAF" extension isn't really necessary for this.
But still on Giant Bomb or IGN US/UK. Very telling.
IGN and Giantbomb are such piece of shit sites, so no surprise here.
Someone should make a thread.
And IGN should be reporting what's news, period. This - as evidenced by the CNN, Yahoo and other stories - is news.
It's still pretty sad. Whether you're for it or against it this is fairly obviously not some small movement by 1% of gamers (as IGN suggested in the most recent episode of Podcast Beyond). Nearly every major gaming website has acknowledged it and now even major news websites are paying attention to it.
"CNN article on Next-Gen Used Games Policy #PS4NoDRM; IGN and Giantbomb still silent"

From the CNN article...
"Microsoft has also tried to reach out to fans.
Larry Hryb, a director of programming for Xbox Live perhaps best known by his gamer tag "Major Nelson," responded to a post on his blog with comments that gave some hope.
"We're fully aware of what is going on," he wrote. "I am also working on a few things to address it. I can't say much more right now. But we ARE listening."
He attached Twitter-style hashtags: #XboxOneUSEDGAMES and #XboxOneNoDRM."
did he actually use those hashtags? If true, that would be a pretty big deal.
