I need some help 'cause i can't easily find some info anymore regarding the various PS5 models/chassis on Google...
I have the PS5 fat disc version that came bundled with GOW Ragnarok 'bout 1 year ago.

- How to see/know what chassis revision it is ?
- What are the differences between the various chassis ?
- How to know which fan your console/version has ? Also, which fans are considered to be the "silent" ones ?

A guy is interested in my PS5 and he's asking some questions so...

Cot dayum, i remember searching for the same info about a year ago before getting my PS5 but i've been searching for half an hour and can't find anything for some reason.

Edit:
The reason they are asking for details is, because a hack for older PS5s or PS5 with old FWs are on the way.

If the the console is old enough and not updated, than it is on a golden FW, which will be worth more than a normal used one.

Regarding the fans : my PS5 is pretty much whisper quiet, which fan would it be ? I remember that there was a difference between the Nidec Vs Delta (?), thing is, i don't know which is supposed to be the more silent one between the two...

Fans could only be seen / identified, if you open the console / look at the fans.

Nah, the guy is not that knowledgeable, he just wants a PS5 for his kids but he does happen to know between the various revisions (aka chassis) and the differences between fan noises...

Anyway, just gonna tell him it's the C-chassis and that it has the "quiet" fan
