So there is literally nothing these companies can do about this? It's been an ongoing issue with blizzard for a few days and obviously Sony all day today.

Well the law can prosecute, that's about it. The only way to prevent a DDoS from flooding your servers with full certainty is to not have the network at all. Essentially they're indistinguishable from a customer in that you would have to lock out the customers to keep the attacker out.

Same here. Western Canada if that matters. Can get onto mobile app no problem but get a error code when trying to sign in on ps4

After taking a few minutes to find games in Gears 3 over the last two weeks (not Titanfall bad, but it took a bit), I have been fighting nonstop with people since this whole thing happened, haha.

I realize that Xbox seemed to have issues, or so the webpage said, but it seems like people plugged back their 360's or something.

Good thing I own two FIFA14's on both systems, too, my brother needed his FIFA fix as well, haha.
