This is garbage- I can't play FF14 because of Sony's broke ass network held together with chewing gum & kaz farts.
What burns me is PC players will be able to log in just fine, but PS4 players are hosed, and uncompensated.

Yup been happening since 2007, everyone wants to jump online at the same time so it rocks the networks of both consoles. Not sure how Wii U will do but I assume they will have a similar issue.
Really want to open the xbone now and try to get it underweigh. Or at least grab some demo's before it really starts going to heck.

I could have sworn that during PSN Maintenance a few months ago, you were still able to log onto FFXIV just fine.
It just kind of bums me out that I have a free day for once, but I cannot play a game I'm paying a monthly subscription to because of whatever in the fuck is going on with PSN, even despite how it can still connect to the internet just fine (such as Netflix).
Edit: After brute-forcing it, it eventually logged me on to the point where I could at least sign on to FFXIV. Friends' list is barren and and PSN is still laggy as all fuck though.

I assure you, you can take bad screen shots of any game. Including (especially including) drive club.

People have had issues with WiiU's they had got them & then opened them on Xmas morning & had to wait to install the update, i would think that Xmas day & Boxing day are the days that all gaming related services & servers come under the biggest load.

Live is been down as well and also getting attacked according to some sites. Struggled with my 360 as well today.
Maybe on days like Xmas / boxing day Sony just need to make PSN online play FREE for 24 hours and no PSN log in required.
I have more issues in a single week with psn than i did for 7 years on live.
Both Live and NN are in much better shape today.
