PSN: Pay $60 Get $10 coming back March 11?

Why is it blindly when it was advertised on the store? I was going to buy the things I bought anyway, and I was really in the mood for some Project Diva. Would have waited if they put the start date somewhere on the ad as it sounds like it's already happening...

Just call them and say that you saw the advertisement before it was announced live and bought the game. Sony CS can be pretty accommodating. Try to solve the problem before it actually becomes one.

Well I myself have always been causious when such a promo becomes available; I make my purchases on a Wednesday or if it's a month long offer, I make a list and save the games that don't go on sale for last.

Worked out pretty well for me so far =X

You've never had to before. Any purchases you make during the promo period will be tallied up. Spend more than $60, get $10 at the end.

In the past it had also stacked for every additional $60 as well.
 
This is better than the 10% off preorder deal they had in another country. I'm getting Second Son with this, though I guess I'll have to buy an avatar to get it over the threshold. This is why I was waiting to order it digitally. I wasted to get it closer to $50. PEACE.
 
Was already going to preorder Infamous so that's a no brainer. Now thinking of getting Ground Zeroes and FFX to add another $10.

Also, does it span PS4 and PS3?

I want to get XCOM $39.99 for PS3, and then Rayman Legends $39.99 for PS4...

That's $80 spent, $10 of which comes from PS4's credit...

Why don't you cancel your pre-order at gamestop and move it to a Watch Dogs pre-order? You get a cool "free" PS4 game and a awesome PS4 game for $50.That's what I'm doing now.

If this stacks, I'm buying stick of truth as well. Pleas Sony let me give you more monies.
 
UK here, if I add $80 to my US account with digital codes from Amazon.com and use that to purchase inFamous, would I get $10 back and have $30 left to purchase Ground Zeroes with?

That's what I'm planning, just making sure it applies to money added via codes.

I think it's only $30 on PSN now. So you'd only need $20 more with the $10 back. :)

Yeah it'll work, but you'll probably have to wait 3 - 4 weeks to get the $10 back code. Just something to keep in mind if you want Ground Zeroes day 1.

You'll have to wait for the $10 to show up (if it's like previous promos of the sort, it's not automatically added to your account's wallet, but sent as a PSN code a few weeks later). Since Ground Zeroes comes out on the 18th, you won't be playing it on release day if you go for that plan.

Either way, miles cheaper than the UK.

Important info:
* Qualifying purchases have to be done "between March 11 and March 18" but the title image says "through March 18". It doesn't say what time exactly it will end.
* $10 codes will be sent out through XMB message or email address associated with PSN account on or before Monday, March 24. Usually, codes are sent out on the last day.
* Code expires at the end of March 31, so redeem it immediately once you get it. Funds in the wallet after redeeming the code will not expire.
* A maximum of $10 will be given out, so no stacking.
 
Awesome that it was confirmed. Have $65 ready to spend, though I'll wait till later ...don't want to fall into some kind of loophole of "is wasn't March 11 when you spent it!!"...

Hopefully it lasts all day on the 18th. Going to pick up FFX. Anyone have any suggestions on what to spend the remaining $20? I have a Vita and a PS3

I hope more games for preorder come out tomorrow with the store update. Would love to grab Lego the Hobbit PS4 with this deal.

Through the webstore in Canada? It will automatically switch to the region you're connecting from. Logging in should switch it back to your US account.

Last time they did a similar promotion, there was a separate page for Canada through the link above. I think it only shows up if you click it while in Canada.

Crap, I literally pre-ordered Infamous, and bought Katamari Vita an hour ago cause I saw the tile on Vita, and thought it was live, son of a beach ball, I guess I will try and call. I guess it teaches me to always check gaf first.
