Starts now ends I believe, ends 7/31

For one week, the following titles will be offered for $4.99 (regularly priced at $9.99)

* PAIN
* PixelJunk Monsters
* High Velocity Bowling
* High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition
* Rocketmen: Axis of Evil

Too bad I already have Pixeljunk Monsters, but to anybody who doesnt have it get it now for cheap while you can!

Buy Monsters if you haven't. That's easily worth $5.

Bowling or poker I've never tried, though, and I'm wondering if they're worth it now.

I got Pain. I was going to get it anyway when that new stuff came out.

I already had Monsters, and bowling. The other two games seemed blah.

Yeah, the bowling game is amazing if you have some buddies to play with - hell, at 5 bucks, it's worth it even if you don't.

Still the best implementation of the SIXAXIS to date.

Even better than in Flow? Flow's sixaxis control was absolutely flawless, to the extent that I can't even imagine playing it with analog sticks.

Is the bowling game any good? I did have fun with the bowling part of Wii Sports if that helps.

Its hard, very technical, and no online. Local, custom misic, great challenges, but the ai is just too flawless it seems.

Yeah, better than flow - you end up holding the controller as if you had a bowling ball in your hands/fingers in the holes.

Definitely takes practice, but I went from ~100 averages to 280+ games - so damn fun playing with friends that I got that much playtime out of it.

Hmm isnt it only $7?

$2 aint much to mull over.

Really? I thought it was $10. It's been down to $5 before though, and chances are I wouldn't play it much.

Does PAIN suck like I imagine it does? I know some people were raving about it and saying it was fun but I didn't believe them. I figured it was some psycological trick they were playing on themselves so that they wouldn't have buyer's remorse.

IF it's good at all, it seems to be similar to Gripshift in some way. If I have Gripshift then would there be any room for PAIN in my collection?

SHIIIIIIIIT why did i buy pain last weeeeeeek i knew i would regret it. BUT PJM here i come.

Also how is the Bowling game? i heard it uses motion controls and i think they would work really well for bowling but do they really?

I think it's one of the best Sixaxis games to date. It's very fun specially in multiplayer (local, not online :( ).

Just got PixelJunk Monsters. I'll play it tomorrow.

I'll probably buy bowling, been looking for a game that actually uses the motion control in a good way.

PJM is sort of dull, I didn't find tower defence all that fun either so maybe it's just me.

Lovely. My shitty roommate "forgot" to pay the internet bill for the last 2 months so I now can only go online at work (or if I catch the errant wifi signal)... and I'm moving out on August 1st, a day after the sale ends. I would buy PJM in a heartbeat otherwise.

Why is PJM on this list?

HOOOLLLLY

Time to pick up Monsters and PAIN. Monsters was worth the full price, IMO, but it was too much of a time eater and too addictive for me, so I thought it would be better not to buy it. But both games for the price of 1...can't resist that.
